Great bed and good night's sleep
room had not been serviced properly, found someone else's socks on a shelf and toiletries half used.
Location for town and parking £9 overnight
Bathroom dirty small room with two single beds that where so narrow that it felt like sleeping on the edge of a cliff! As for the bar....well....i know you have to make up for a £50 room but £12.95 for a pint of Stella and a glass of wine is a bit sharp.
The quality of the food was excellent (try the crabcake) and very well priced - approx £45 for two starters two mains and a few drinks. Free wifi was a bonus. Hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good location for Alhambra and city centre. 15% discount on secure NCP car park next door to hotel. Would definitely stay again.
Clean comfortable and quiet. All staff friendly and helpful. Food well cooked and nicely served. Self service Breakfast varied and generous
Low background relentless techno music in dining area. Favourite classics or easy listening playlist preferable. Constant need to log back on to Wifi.
great staff, very helpful
Having stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years I'm glad to see that the present Chef decided to stay on from the old Hilton Hotel staff. He remembers who you are and better still he remembers how you like your eggs cooked.
Everything was adequate but like many hotels it felt sterile.
Trying to be something it wasn't - like calling a bar of soap a "moisture infusion facial bar"!
The beds were comfy and the room was clean.
We had a door in between our room and the room next door which was not locked, and someone walked into our room which really made me feel unsafe. Early hours in the morning there was a group of people arguing, this went on for around 3hours!
The quality was good. I was upgraded for the suite. It is great, spacious and nice complimentary wine provided.
-The Parking is not the nicest (its a public NCP carpark which you have to pay for) - Plug in the room, nowadays with mobiles and laptops there needs to be plugs near the bed but there are only plugs on the desk.
The bar was hopeless the bar man didn't even no what a short is.
At 8 am the big clock outside the building started chiming :-(
Location is excellent, just by Bradford Interchange station and right in the heart of the city.
It was a bit noisy with all the night life going on outside. Ask for a room at the back if this bothers you.
Overall very good. Bar prices bit expensive as well as food on room service. Breakfast very good
Need more pillows. As it was under Hilton have a cook on hand to cook fresh fried eggs and omelettes if wanted.
very good value very good breakfast, good selection looked out over the lovely town hall easy to find and to exit out of bradford onto motorway
Everything's just like the Hilton.
Prices a little dear considering you can get the great Victoria for 40/50 a night and that's a boutique hotel. Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. Hair still on the floor. Breakfast a little expensive but a very good variety
Room is small
Well situated for station. Staff very helpful.
We had two single beds in our room .It wasn't till the morning, that I noticed my bed had no mattress topper on. I would have slept better if there had been one on the bed ,as my friend had one on hers and slept like a log. Lesson learnt check your bed before you go to bed sleep.
The staff was friendly at check in, and the location was amazing!
We didn´t like getting locked out of the room every time we went out of it. We also didn´t like the fact that we had to pay so much for parking, they should have better rates for the guests.
the staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you but at breakfast on the sunday having to ask for items that should have already been in place on tables no matter how small the item
advertising items then to be told not available ie food and drinks getting into our room quite clean but the décor was tired bathroom tiles were chipped and sealer round the bath was peeling leaving not a very good impression for the quality of hotel that you try to give
Noisy Scruffy Dated
We booked on line at 8.30 pm on the day as the last hotel in the region and at £55 was not expecting much.as in city centre " The Bradford Hotel" .We had a horrible 4 hour journey from Newcastle with the motorway closed and arrived at 1.50 am tired. The staff were excellent , quick, no fuss, apologising for it being a twin room . The room was clean , fresh, and with soaps etc and lovely towels , excellent Duvets. Not fussy. Not loads of cushions etc which annoy me. We slept well with no street noise even though we were at the front . It made our weekend. Thank you 5 stars
If i was being picky I thought the lifts could do with a refresh ! otherwise it was a 5 star experience
Good sized clean rooms. Nice clean up to date bathroom Excellent central location for Bradford Helpful, friendly staff
The evening menu was a bit limited, but with lots of good restaurants close by this does not detract from the overall quality of the hotel
Being right next to Bradford Interchange was much quieter then we were expecting, especially as our room overlooked the bus/coach area itself. Bed was comfy and bed linen was clean. The room curtains did an excellent job of keeping the daylight out of the room and the windows (when closed) kept the outside noise, outside. The staff were very accommodating when it came to a group of us wanting to watch the F1 race on Sunday.
This used to be a Hilton hotel, and I'm giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt with some of these errors. The desk lamp in our room didn't have a mains plug on it. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the enamel had started to come off in several places. If this had still been an 'established' hotel, like the Hikton, I'd have been seeking recompense for these errors. However, as it was obvious that the staff were still sorting things out since the hotel had changed owners, a bit of leeway was given. Might I also suggest that if someone purchases an executive room (ours was a king size), you might want to consider uograding the 'regular' kettle for a slightly better tea/coffee machine instead.
Comfy bed Wifi very fast Great value Staff friendly
