Proprietors - excellent hosts - location in Old Shanklin Village - superb
Especially appreciated Mary delaying her departure to a family celebration to greet us on arrival. Lovely couple. The balcony was all i hoped it would be, the feature that attracted me to this b&b.
ideal location for us for the weekend. room was good. breakfast was great.
Great staff, good rooms, nice beds
Friendly staff/owner. Excellent breakfast - well cooked & plenty of it. Location superb - a short walk to the Old Village
Lovely friendly staff and good food
Location: nice area of town. Breakfasts. Public rooms (breakfast room & lounge). Accessible by train.
Room slightly small & gloomy.
Hists Room breakfasts
Slightly cramped bathroom
LOCATION. FOOD. AMBIENCE. FRIENDLINESS. LOVELY SPACIOUS BALCONY WITH SEATS. THE BAR.
VERY SMALL BATHROOM WITH TOILET MASHER. OUT DATED FURNITURE. VERY TIGHT PARKING AT THE BACK WHEN ITS FULL OF VISITORS. ALSO VERY TIGHT ENTRANCE TO DRIVEWAY ACCESSING THE CAR PARK AT THE REAR.
Location and breakfasts. Good value.
My room looking slightly tired but otherwise ok.
The owners were lovely and very helpful The breakfast every morning was excellent
There was nothing I didn't like
Fantastic hosts Mary & Kelly, wonderful breakfasts, lovely rooms, relaxed friendly atmosphere. Would definately stay again
Very comprehensive breakfast and a lovely packed lunch.
The location is central to the main high street, shops and just a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and there was a real sense of family atmosphere. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was nice
I can't think of anything
after complaining about the room's cleanliness the room was certainly every day there after.
upon on arrival, needed to ask for round pin.The sinkunit looked as so it has been installed in the 1960's. Water System for the shower (possibly all)needs updating, very poor pressure.powerpoints were so Close to the floor, plugs couldn't be charged, the one under the bed was the oldfashion round one. Breakfast was available within a half hour time Frame, cereals portions were already in a dish on the table and were as much as you would give a child.
Great hosts. Real good food. Clean, comfortable room. Real good breakfast. Will go again.
Shower facilities very poor, out dated overall really. Lovely people, but needs money spent on the decoration
Friendly welcoming owners Excellent choice of breakfasts cooked and prepared to high standards Ideal location for local walks and bus links
Nothing really, could occasionally be noisy as my room was near the bar /lounge but it wasn't a major problem and wouldn't stop me from returning
Kelly and Mary, their hospitality is boundless. Warm and friendly welcome, feeling like you are visiting friends not booking into a B &B at all.
Very warm welcome, good breakfast and well located for shops and restaurants
sink in the bedroom and shower room/toilet rather small
Very friendly owners, the location was quiet yet easily accesable to a choice of restaurants pubs & shops.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I very much liked the room I had - although the shower room was very small and without natural light but that didn't matter too much. I would stay at this hotel again.
The board at the end of the bed partly obscured my view of the television, although that was much improved when I asked for telephone directories to increase the height of the television.
