Very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and good location.
because the room was freezing cold without any prospect of the central heating being on we had to return home and we were fully charged as a result. This was meant to be a surprise birthday treat which turned out to be a disaster. We were not contacted to inform us of the breakdown.
Landlord very pleasant ,very welcoming. Enjoyed the leisurely breakfast.
The central heating in the bedrooms was broken . We were given some heaters which helped .
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent real ale in Pub.
Stuff is friendly, food is good!
the owner patrixk was very friendly, there to greet us, the room was good along with the comfort of the bed, ideal location and the breakfast was sublime, he will tell you the story of why and how you will have fresh apple juice, and I mean fresh on your table at breakfast. will go back there as we went for an afternnoon at the races. and had a nice evening in the village.Patrick does food which we will sample on our next visit. if its anything like his breakfast!!!
Very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable room with all facilities
Heating in bedroom a bit variable; possible radiator problem.A little noisy but it is a pub on quite a busy road
Quaint village very quiet and relaxing. It is a pub but was quiet when we visited we were the only guests but it was enjoyable.
Parking was on the street but once their car park gets sorted it will have one. No issues with parking their but if there were more quests it would be a struggle
Location was close to the wedding venue we were attending. Warm friendly and helpful landlord.
Steep stairs to the 4 bedrooms which were small and basic
Staff welcoming & breakfast OK.
Stayed awake until after 2am with people making noise in the bar directly under our room. Bed was the worst quality we have ever had to sleep in - you could count the springs!
More or less everything.
Nothing - but some fruit juice at breakfast would have made it even better!
Had a lovely stay and the landlord was really friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere
staff very friendly good breakfast very clean
Very plesant staff no food available so ended up going to the pub down the road and spending the evening there !
Not much choice over breakfast ! A cooked breakfast just arrived with no consultation about what I wanted !
Very pleasent staff
Location very good.
Booked breakfast for 8:00am (others for 7:30am) staff arrived, after knocking their door at 9:00am?? Paid reduced rate and left without breakfast.
I spent a few nights in the Inn during a business trip. The owners/managers were excellent. They were accommodating and helpful. They even offered me a ride to one of the places I needed to go to during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable with fast wifi. Overall, I felt very welcomed on my first trip to Southwell and would certainly recommend a stay in the Bramley Apple Inn.
No Parking facilities when it said there was parking at the hotel on the web site. the wifi was not working due to a drunk knocking over his drink and disabling the unit. no evening meal available.
the hotel, Staff, the area
Brilliant breakfast. Full english but with the best bacon, sausages.......etc
Amazingly friendly, helpful and generous staff. Comfortable and cosy rooms. Yummy food. Great atmosphere! A wonderful place to stop after a busy day!
Nothing... if I had to come up with something it would possibly be that the room was a touch cold..
The veggie breakfast was very good.
We were welcome warmly and had comfortable room overlooking the front of the pub. It is set back from the road outside, so this did not intrude on our enjoyment. We slept well and the breakfast the following morning was excellent. We didn't use the WiFi, so we cannot comment on this, but it is present.
The only slight issue is that there is no parking on site. However there is free parking on the road and this is obviously used by locals as well as guests without any problem. This does not affect the review of the Inn, and I would happily stay here again.
Patrick had recently taken over the premises & made me feel right at home. Breakfast was superb, will definately stay again if in the area.
The new manager tried very hard to make us welcome, but with little atmosphere and a tiny room with spars cheap furniture he did not stand a chance.
We were the only guests. The room was very small and the on-suit tiny. The bed was very low and broke when I sat on it. Only two small screws were used into a chip board side. All furniture looked cheap second hand pine.
We loved the warm welcome that we received, they went out of their way to allow us to let us have the room early so that we could change for the local wedding we were going to.
