Established in 1963, this small family-run hotel in Rotherham aims to offer you a friendly home from home atmosphere where all the staff care for your wellbeing.

The Brecon Hotel is perfectly located for enjoying the many attractions that surround Rotherham, including the Magna Science Adventure Centre and Meadowhall shopping centre, while Sheffield city centre is just a 10 minute drive away. The hotel is easily accessible from the M1 and M18 motorways, making it perfectly suited for a business stopover, a short break, or even to experience a meal in the traditional restaurant. The restaurant features extensive à la carte and seasonal menus along with traditional Sunday lunch. The cuisine is known throughout the area for its quality and generous portions.

The hotel now also has a new beauty room where an experienced therapist offers a wide range of treatments in relaxing surroundings.

The hotel has 2 50-seater restaurants, one of which can accommodate party discos. Small wedding receptions can also be accommodated. There is a small meeting room that is ideal for a boardroom meeting seating up to 12, or for a family get together.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:00.
Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:00.

We have bedrooms in the main house and also in a separate building at the back. Each of the comfortable and elegant en suite bedrooms are equipped with standard facilites.

Area information

The Brecon Hotel is close to many sights in and around Rotherham, including the Magna Science Adventure Centre and Meadowhall shopping centre. It is within easy access of the M1 and M18 motorways. It is also only 10 minutes away from Sheffield city centre, Sheffield Arena and Don Valley Stadium.
