Very keen to take cash No swipe system for cards Accommodation in an annexe Refurbishment?
Location is good for town and meadowhall shopping centre not far.
Very old and dated, refurbishing on going, so should improve, beds were lumpy
It was quiet.
The hotel was partly closed. Cleaners didn't change towels, wash cups or change sheets.
It's in a really good location
Had a no smoking room but the whole building smelt of cigarettes. Either the smoke alarms were not working or they were tampered with. The plug was the wrong fitting for the bath and the water pressure was too low.
it was ok place to stop vale or money
Convenient for our requirements
The main area of the "hotel" was supposedly being renovated. No bar or eating area except a Tesco Express across the road. It appears to have changed hands since we last visited.
It was quiet and private. I liked that we were in a seperatly building from main hotel. Warm room and comfy
Only problem I had was the shower. Wasn't great and it would not stay upright.
Nice quiet location though still close to centre. Helpful staff offered advice on where to go in absence of onsite bar/restaurant. Comfortable room. Recent below par reviews seem a little precious. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was undergoing renovation so no bar was available, but this was known beforehand so no big deal.
Close proximity to town centre and football ground.
No one around on arrival...This had been mentioned on other reviews...The most bizarre place I have ever stayed!!
Coffee choice was limited
Good value, comfortable hotel
It's 1 mile uphill from the station!
No tv remote. Heating went off cold in room
Value for money, fairly good size room and reasonably kitted out. Value for money good parking and location very clean
Not VAT registered shower and Taps broken
Nothing. There is nothing about this hotel that in any way justifies its existence
Everything; there is no food; no bar the explanation is that the hotel is being "refurbished" although there is no evidence of this. The room was not clean, the bath had evidence of previous guests, it is impossible to have a bath, the shower did not work properly and the toilet needed cleaning. This hotel demands a great deal of money spent on it. There is no evidence that any refurbishment is taking place.
A good budget hotel for a quick stopover in Rotherham, just 10 minutes down the hill into town. Refurbishment going on there at present so I was put in a room behind the main building which was fine - no frills but ok. A quiet part of town, no disturbances.
Location is excellent and in quiet area
Cleanliness is reasonable but not upto the standard. Can be improved
the photo on the web site was not what I got, I ended up in an annex at the rear of the building nothing like what I expected I would have been very disssappointed had it been for more than one night. The room was very hot with only small fanlights to open, most uncomfortable
There was no bar or any food been served at day or night plus there was no breakfast in a morning and u had to be out of ur room by 10am for the price you pay you should be aloud to stay till 12. When I booked the hotel on line the booking said I will pay for the room when I check-in I didnt pay on check-in there took the money out of my account the day before im not please at all
excellent staff, offered to help with luggage and sorted wireless internet problem immediately
The ease of finding and staff friendliness
The pillows were hard, and the reataurant was being refurbished. I was warmed in advance but I had to take my own food.
no internet wifi, was very poor signal. of no use whatsoever, shower was so bad, no water pressure,
i like stay
you not have any breakfast went u stay and you need to always go to shop and have take aways and hotal not doing food at min not right at all as you are pay for a room and the room not clean i am not happy
