I loved the friendliness of the staff and the warm homely feel
Control of the heating in the room was broken, but the owner did immediately do something to make our stay comfortable
We've stayed in loads of hotels B&B's and travel lodges in lytham but will always now stay at Breverton. Staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you, rooms are excellent comfy and welcoming.
home made cake
Our stay was very comfortable, we had the disabled suite and reserved parking right outside our window. Parking in St Annes is abysmal!
What`s not to like?
This is a lovely b&b which is beautifully maintained. It's located on a quiet street within easy drive of Blackpool. We had the family room and a twin room. Both rooms were well laid out, and quiet and everyone slept well. Breakfast was good, selection of cereals, juice, croissants, and cooked breakfast. The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
A very reliable service.managed to check in extra early due to a function / funeral we had to attend. Left our car in private off road spot, and the staff managed to book a taxi for us. A super breakfast from a very friendly staff. Well done. Highly recommended.
I liked the location of the property on a quiet residential road yet within walking distance of the shops, the sea front and to travel on the buses or train. It took us 6 minutes on the train to blackpool pleasure beach. The property and rooms were presented to a high standard. The rooms were nice and warm. Comfy bed. T.v and wifi. Good variety and choice for breakfast, continental and cooked. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will stay again. Thank you.
Located in a beautiful property, the comfy home like feel of the interior and awesome breakfast. Great location down a quiet street and close to St Annes promenade. All in all this was a great place to stay, with lovely hospitality and we would certainly return when visiting the area again.
Very accomodating we were aparty of 14 and the set up was great fo us
Very, very clean. Spotless white bedding and towels. Comfortable room. Very friendly host. Well situated for all other amenities but in a quiet location. Delicious breakfast. Off street parking.
Rooms, friedliness of owner, breakfast, nice and quiet to sleep during the day.
really no complaints
Anna is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Cup of tea and a cake on arrival was most welcome.
Value for money Clean rooms Landlady pleasant, coffee and nice homemade cake upon arrival Good food Short distance into blackpool. Close to local shops if needed
Limited parking so could be awkward Wi fi wasn't the best but we didn't go to sit on the Internet all day . These things are only minor things and really didn't spoil the stay. Well worth staying. Will def use again
When we arrived Tea and Cake was taken upto our Room
No WiFI, it did'nt work
Cannot fault this guest house at all. Both our rooms were lovely had lots of character and one of the nicest places we've stayed. Also - top marks for the disabled accomodation. Fab weekend had by all.
Cannot fault this guest house / hotel at all :0)
We liked the pot of tea and carrot cake brought to our room on arrival
Nothing to dislike
The house is Edwardian with original lovely Art Nouveau glass. For the price it is good value. In my experience quite difficult to find a really good B&B in this area.
There was an unfortunate heavy drip onto the conservatory roof (where breakfast is served) which needed attention. Some of my breakfast could have been better cooked as well. Mattress in room a tad bouncy/soft.
Nice location for visiting Blackpool without being too near to all the hustle and bustle there. Room nice and warm and bed lovely and comfy.
Would have like a little more toast with breakfast, otherwise was everything was good.
There was a mix up with the booking but the owner was very good and fitted us into a room very quickly. We would stay there again.
very nice hotel, the owner was really nice and helpful.
Could not get on WIFI.
Everything about the Breverton is excellent would strongly recommend to anybody.
The owner Anna was a warm welcoming individual who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She was informative and animated and truly a joy to meet. She made sure we had any information needed about the area and made us as feel like we could treat her home as we would ours. Kudos Anna!
Few minutes walk to St Anee's beach. Lovely welcome with tea, coffe and cake. Excellent price. Quiet road ensuring a good nights sleep. Small garden and lounge for the children to get WiFi
Nothing really. Couldn't get in until 3.00 pm and we arrived at 1.00 pm but that was no probelm, just went to the beach. Maybe could have had a towel in the bathroom but that may have been an oversight
Very warm welcome given with complimentary tea and cake. Hotel was very close to shops and seafront so easy to get out and get exercise. Parking easy.
I had booked a 'superior double room'. We were taken to a room situated in the roof with sloping ceilings...far from superior , although it did have its own small kitchen with a fridge.Alas no sink to wash things up though.Other rooms were available on 1st and 2nd floors but the only two rooms booked were in the roof! When it came to payment I was advised that the card payment machine was not working and I was asked for cash. As I did not have that amount of cash I offered to pay online direct into a bank account, as I had my laptop with me and could have made the transaction there and then. This option was declined and it was left that I send a cheque (which I rarely use and I do not carry a cheque book with me) when I get back to my home in two weeks time. Very trusting but at the same time a little worrying in the business sense.
