Accommodation was JUST adequate for our purpose of a one night stay over for a wedding we were attending
The bar area was very much a drinking mans pub which was in a very poor state of repair, and we felt very uncomfortable when we walked in. We stayed in Bedroom 5, which contaned the boiler. The boiler was extremely noisey and disturbed my wife all night long. No on-site parking. Breakfast was very greasy.
Room was very nice
the room an the food quality service
The breakfast was ok.
Everything,but the breakfast.
Helpful staff who let us eat our takeaway in the restaurant as the kitchen staff had finished.
In the bedroom the shower water temp was continuosly going from red hot to freezing cold. Also the tv which i plugged in did not work.
Friendly helpful informative staff. My room had a full size bath and the bathroom was spacious - I didn't feel like I was in a matchbox for a change. Great breakfast. Close by street car parking Good wifi connection at the bar. Bed and pillows were comfy.
Getting to my room was a bit like being in a labyrinth. Would have been great to have wifi in my room. Would have liked a small bar fridge in my room. Floors squeaked when walked on and doors tended to slam
To be honest, not very much.
Arrived on Sat p.m. at time advised was acceptable for book-in and could not book in - due to volume of people from Funeral Function - could not get near reception for several hours. No-one around to assist.
