Bed sheets were clean Shabby, run down, in the middle of an industrial estate. It was up 'to let' and it was obvious that the owners are letting it run very much 'down hill'

Bedroom smelled of damp, mattress very uncomfortable hardly any sleep if any at all the head board was not fixed properly it hit the wall every time you sat on the bed moved the bed to try and fix it only to find that this was the first it had been moved in a long time with all the dirt it had under it, a dirty and mouldly bath mat plus shower screen. In all bedroom number 15 needs a complete make over, wonder what the other rooms are like. The only upside was the breakfast served by a very nice and polite young lad. Glad we only booked for one night.

Convieniance and location. Overall standard and upkeep. In need of a little attention to detail. Breakfast poor? Images on web do not reflect the current facilities......

The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy with black mould, the mattress of the bed was thin and poor quality. Breakfast was of poor quality food, water for the tea was from an urn and cold, had to ask for a hot pot of tea to be made. Staff unkempt and indifferent to the customers. The hotel is up for sale and this shows in the building, staff and facilities. Which is a shame as previously the hotel and restaurant had a good name.

Oldy world, nice atmosphire, good food. [Breakfast] didnt try anything else. Food menu too short, too many young adults running the place with no one that seems to have any expereance behind them, THE BEDS WERE VERY OLD AND UNCUMFY WITH SPRINGS MAKING A NIOSE ALL NIGHT. NOT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. another customer had the same problem after speaking with them. Vents in bathroom all clogged up with dry skin and fluff. Should be part of hoovering [Only takes a couple of seconds to do it.]

We were staying overnight at the Bridge Inn as we were attending a wedding at The New wheatsheaf Inn which was next door. Very quite location with very little traffic. We were given a family room which was very spacious for the two of us. No hot water, freezing cold shower. Staff could do with some Customer Service training, was greeted the following morning with "Do you want any breakfast" and then had to ask what was on the menu. Had to find our own table and help ourselves to cereal and "cold" tea.

The wifi in the room was very good the room had it's own router so signal was strong. The hotel room was not very clean the room we were in had flies all over the wall has you walk in. Also the Waredore was broken as the doors do not close and fixture and fitting were very old and tired.

The Bridge Inn Hotel had convenient parking, great meals at value prices, was clean and comfortable and the staff were genuinely friendly. I would have no hesitation staying there again and would recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in and around this area. I was most impressed by all aspects of this hotel. Nothing whatsoever, as I thought this hotel was perfect for my 4 night stay and great value.

As we only stayed two nights and that was because we were visiting friends in South Milford - we really only needed a /clean and comfortable sleeping place with a nice hearty breakfast and that was exactly what we got.

This was an all round gem of a hotel. Staff were fantastic, room was spacious, restaurant was very pleasant, breakfast was excellent, a decent beer on tap. If pushed to pick one highlight - the best fried mushrooms I've had in a long while. The menu was too tempting. I knew ordering a side portion of onion rings with my steak was pure greed but they tempted me. Very good they were too even if I did have to wave the white flag before the plate was cleared.

Due to the previous negative comments regarding this hotel we were quite apprehensive as to what to expect. Why the previous negative commenst were placed we cannot understand. The hotel is central to Wakefield, Leeds and Yorkshire moors and just a few hundred meters from the m62. No noises from traffic nor did we find any noises coming from the car park as stated by other gustes. The room was large with twin beds, clean and comfortablle also the shower and toilet areas were very clean. I had to re-tune the Freeview channels but that was no chore and the reception was quite good. The previous guests could have asked a member of the staff to re-tune but they decided to have a dig at the hotel. We ate in the hotel restruant in the evening and the portions are large and the fish was excellent. We also had the carvery the next day and for the choices and costs you get exceptional value. The only negative comment was in relatioin to the furniture. Someone had forced the wardrobe door open and broke the lock and there were many stains on the desk areas where previous guests had placed hot beverages. I reported the finding to management who promised to have the furniture replaced. I would certainly recommend this budget hotel as for £50 per night including a full english breakfast compares favourably with other chains.

The restaurant was quirky in style and food was very good value for money. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. The decor in the accommodation part of the building was dated

The location & the hotel was pleasant & comfortable The management & staff are ignorant severe lack of customer care. The staff failed to tell us of the passcode after 10.30, we got locked out and had to hammer the door down to get in.

The room was very basic and could do with bringing up to date a little to fit in with the bar/restaurant area, the cups in the room were still dirty and we also had stained bedding. There wasnt much of a selection for breakfast and there wasnt much of a welcome from the staff either. A shame...
