Food was absolutely beautiful in the restaurant. Staff couldn't have been friendlier.
The peace and quiet of the hotel, although as it wasn't busy it was like a ghost hotel
The fact that the bar area wasn't separate and had been turned into part of the eating area and wasn't very comfortable
Welcoming hosts & excellent food, wonderful location on edge of village next to the river
Bedroom was very hot despite turning radiator down to frost we were unable to open two of the windows and the other we had to jam open with a spoon. However when we mentioned temperature to owner he did apologise & explained that new radiators were going to be fitted
Quality of food was fabulous - presentation and service both excellent. Friendly hosts. Lovely relaxing and welcoming place
bed was a bit hard for our taste but bedding nice quality
Friendliness of staff, excellent food, warm and cosy bar area.
Decor a little 'tired', some minor repairs needed but didn't spoil the stay.
Staff were professional and friendly. Tour round hotel very helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Well presented. Dinner was gorgeous! Can highly reccommend. Will visit again.

Fantastic staff, comfortable rooms, excellent food, and family owned. The homemade cakes and biscuits alone were worth the six hour journey.
The location was fantastic, the views of the river from our room were wonderful. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be returning!

Very quiet could not get late night drunk.
Everything the Owners Bob & Amanda & co couldn't do enough for you, the Breakfast Fabulous couldn't eat another thing till Dinner.Golf Club across the road very friendly great Bar prices & stunning views.
The hotel has an excellent location . We had visitors who had supper with us at the hotel. The meal was excellent and enjoyed by all. Our room was airy despite the unusually hot weather for Killin. The beds were comfortable.
If you don't like the noise of traffic, request a room away from the road. We were tired, and it didn't bother us!
We sought an overnight stay en route Greenock to Forres. Thanks to Booking.com we enjoyed a good room overlooking the river, friendly and helpful staff, great food and very good breakfast menu.
No dislikes whatsoever!
Everything was wonderful - thank you to our host Bob and young Ben particularly for making our stay so enjoyable. We feel like me made friends at this lovely old hotel in beautiful Killin.
1) very friendly staff 2) food was really nice 3) nice and quiet 4) very spacious room
1) no lift which meant having to lift pram etc up the stairs 2) mattresses were quite firm
Cracker jack staff makes the place tick. The chef, David, makes fantastic fare. Loved the "lamb of two kinds" and the "wood pigeon breast." Great breakfast, too. Rooms with en-suite facilities were well sized, clean, and quiet.
Wi-fi doesn't work in rooms, just the lounge area.
