1. Room could be cleaner and not so dusty.
2. Car Park and access to it. (could be a good idea to find a better place to park)
3. Only 1 hour of free WiFi throughout your stay.
Will try to be honest...
Biggest selling point for me was a rating on booking.com, 8.1. So my expectations were quite high (possibly, this was an issue).
Location is great - just a minute or two from see side. It is an old victorian (?) building. Possibly - too old as floors are uneven, windows are old and will not shut completely, staircase is a bit twisted.
The room itself was recently refurbished and the bed is OK. The bathroom is very good. But cleanliness could be much better - there was some hair in the bed, someone's earring under the table and old used tea-bag in the pot. And quite dusty. So - just a proper cleaning and I would say that it was very good. But not this time.
If you need a space on car-park, thing twice. There is some space in the yard, but some could describe it as suicidal :) And you need to leave the keys which I would prefer to know in advance.
Dining area is superb, staff is very pleasant and the breakfast (cooked full english and continental) is just great. Really liked it.
You get only an hour of free WiFi. ONLY ONE HOUR! No matter if it just a one night stay or two nights :(. And there was only EDGE on Vodafone in my room (no 3G). This is really bad.
So - don't look at rating. Read reviews and know what to expect. I would say it is strong 7 or 7.2. Especially if you don't need a car :)
P.S. There is an old and abandoned hotel in front, so if windows face the main street, don't worry about curtains, that building is just empty.
