It had a tasteful retro/vintage decor and a very welcoming and comfortable feel. Very comfortable bed, but bathroom was a little shabby; grouting grubby and unfinished painting over obvious repairs.

The location was great (close to the Tube and shops, and the traffic noise was minimal); the room was attractive, light and comfortable; the bar downstairs was stylish and cosy. The staff were friendly. I chose the hotel based on the website description and it met / exceeded expectations. Based on other places we stayed this was excellent value for money. I would definitely stay there again.

It was lovely to have the pub/restaurant facility and especially as that facility was so good. The atmosphere and friendliness of all the staff and the 'high' quality 'bistro style' eating just made the whole experience a good one. The room was large and exceptionally clean - the room was a little cold but that was my fault not understanding the controls and I'm sure if I had asked it would have been sorted. The breakfast was exceptional. All requests and changes were accommodated with ease. I would definitely stay again and recommend to all.

This is a very hospitable establishment, for a London hotel. The staff are very friendly, and there is a warm homely atmosphere here, unlike the larger hotels. A large fire was glowing in the hearth of the 1860's bar area, the fascia of which is still the original. The lighting in the bar area consists of low hanging lights, and glowing candles, really very subdued and intimate. The food is excellent, although the menu is a little limited.Very good and plentiful breakfasts, which can set you up for the day. Overall excellent value for money. The stairway to the bedrooms was a little tired looking and could do with a bit of decoration. Also, as it is on a traffic junction, and close proximity to the local hospital, it can be noisy with sirens going any time of the day or night.

The staff were very good and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent. Our bathroom left a bit to be desired, the tiolet was coming of the wall and a skirting board was loose around the bath, really it was ready for a make over, but it did not spoil our stay.

Really liked the independant style and the breakfast was excellent. I will definately be staying here again when I work in Hammersmith. Previously I stayed at the Premier Inn in Hammersmith which was 100% worse than this hotel!

Great hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful and the pub/restaurant downstairs was excellent -- good food, really cozy, and the included breakfast was surprisingly generous. Room was a really good size for a European hotel. Location was close to shopping, restaurants, and a short walk to the Underground. Free wi-fi. Bed was not terribly comfortable.

Very friendly, helpful, personal efficient staff and welcome. Fantastic breakfast. The sort of value for money you would expect outside London. Small individual hotel that was a unexpected pleasure compared to the chain hotels I've mostly stayed at in London. Area much nicer than I was expecting. 15-20 min walk to Olympia. Small club downstairs that had what looked like a great comedy night on the night we were there (we missed it). Had a room at the front overlooking the park and road but noise wasn't a problem. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice hotel have stayed there before and would re book. Great location and excellent staff. Nice place to unwind after a long day. When we stayed before we stayed on the second floor, this time we were on the top floor and the room was not as nice. The bathroom was a bit dirty the walls needed a good scrub down

Great location, reasonable rate, comfortable rooms, No one explained the after hours policy for getting back in the hotel. Cold shower in the morning due to twisted shower head hose, which was a known fault. Get it fixed!!

We stayed here before and after a holiday flying from Gatwick. Good price and service which included a private taxi to and from the airport and car parking during our stay. All worked very efficiently. The hotel itself is small and firendly and the room and the breakfast to a good standard. Excellent value for money.

Cozy little pub, didn't feel like London Heating was unfortunately not working, staff should have been up front about this, but took a dishonest approach and said there was no problem. Had to finally make a complaint to get a heater (which they said had they had none of the first few times I asked). They could have handle this better.

The Brook Green was easy to find and minutes to hmv Apollo. The pub's atmosphere and design was nice and so was the garden. The room was as expected from the image on website. Excellent shower water pressure however no control on height adjustment and a body clinging shower curtain. Nice size towels and a good mini selection of hygiene products. Good selection of breakfast and wished that checkout time was at 12(noon) instead of 10:30. We had a lovely time thank you!

We waited 45mins on Sunday morning for a cooked English breakfast. When it eventually arrived the egg was stone cold. I returned it and after it came back, on further investigation the bacon wasn't cooked and was full of fat, the tomato had not been cooked, but an attempt had been made to try. The sausage had chilli pieces in it and the hash browns were cold. A total disaster.

When I walked in - after the short walk from the tube - the staff were singing which in my book, travelling on my own for business, was so much more welcoming than a soulless 'Budget Inn' type option. The pub itself is lovely and cosy with lots of quirky touches and a gorgeous garden. So good I opted to eat downstairs even though I was on my own. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was a clear winner for me - mmm eggs benedict. All in all a great experience. I felt looked after and will definitely we recommending to my friends as colleagues as well as visiting again.
