The bar area was great On our second day we woke up and realised we had not been given any green tea in the coffee/ tea selection as we had the day before and there was no number for reception on hand in our room. I called the hotel and got through to room 43 !

It was modern, nicely decorated and appointed, quiet and calm. No parking difficulties. Easy to find. Comfortable. Nothing fell short - though there was a problem with fully closing the main curtain in Room 30 - it needs mending.

Friendly of staff, very knowledgeable - even knew our room numbers when we returned to reception to get our keys. We stayed two nights - golden wedding reception lunch on the Sunday, brilliant food, service and ambience. Lovely warm, comfortable room. Only small niggle - would appreciate a drinking glass in the room.
