The setting of the hotel. Lovely garden to relax in. We were initially given room 3. On such a lovely day it was necessary to open the bedroom window, however the noise from the fan/air conditioner at the kitchen was such we had to close the window. We also noticed the flush in the toilet was playing up. We complained about this shortly after our arrival at 1.30pm to be told we would be moved the following day. However, I had again to complain during the night as the flush had packed in and we were move to room 7 within minutes. Why should I have to complain twice to be moved and why the delay in moving us? Not good decision making from staff.

We wanted to spend a few days house hunting in the area when we saw you offer. It suited us for location. When we arrived, we were delighted to find that the hotel had been completely refurbished. The room was excellent, the standard of service, outstanding while friendly. The breakfast was very good and the Valetine Dinner exquisite. We had a very comfortable and relaxing weekend and look forward to returning on a future occasion. We had an extraction fan which would not stop and a bulb out in the over-bed reading lamp. We reported these items to reception and they were attended to, immediately No Complaints.

Staff were friendly and helpful I don't think the quality of the food was good, We had dinner in the evening and I had the impression that everything had seen the microwave, and the taste of the dishes could only be best described as mediocre. In the morning when we were having breakfast we noticed there was mould on the toast and returned it. Staff were very apologetic.

Nice pleasant relaxing stay. Cheese and biscuits had been kept refrigerated so very cold when served. I prefer my cheese at room temperature.

The Hotel is a modest size, stylishly furnished with comfortable bedrooms, and located close to seaside towns and villages. The food was of a high standard and the staff were polite and accommodating. The Hotel is located on a very busy highway, Havant Road. It is set back from the road but not so far as to avoid the problem of traffic noise in the front facing bedrooms and some difficulty of ingress and egress to the car park. Windows are double glazed but this does not eliminate much noise.

I booked my room on Booking.com months ago but when I arrived at the hotel, there wasn't a reservation for me.The staff were extremely friendly and apologetic and organised a room.Thank goodness they weren't full!! The hair dryer is out dated and should be replaced with a modern hand held one.

Location, handy for a walk or bus ride into town. Very polite and helpful staff Good room size Very Hot room took ages to cool down - small opening window. Something started up at 6.00am, making quite a loud and continuous high pitched hum..

The service was friendly, it was well kept and we felt very comfortable there. Our room was a bit noisy due to 1. the street noise, 2. The doors between the lobby and other parts of the hotel (we could hear them all night opening and closing), 3. Thin walls.
