Duvets, much too small

Clean room.

Breakfast not included in the price,so overall a bit pricey.No way of getting a small amount of fresh air via the window.

On our second day we woke up and realised we had not been given any green tea in the coffee/ tea selection as we had the day before and there was no number for reception on hand in our room. I called the hotel and got through to room 43 !

Nice hotel in general, have stayed in many over the years .

Comfortable, clean room and comfortable bed. Happy staff.

No lift - lots of stairs to get to the first floor.

It was modern, nicely decorated and appointed, quiet and calm. No parking difficulties. Easy to find. Comfortable.

Nothing fell short - though there was a problem with fully closing the main curtain in Room 30 - it needs mending.

Didn't think the evening meal was very good. Passable but could do a lot better.

Friendly of staff, very knowledgeable - even knew our room numbers when we returned to reception to get our keys. We stayed two nights - golden wedding reception lunch on the Sunday, brilliant food, service and ambience. Lovely warm, comfortable room.

Only small niggle - would appreciate a drinking glass in the room.

The staff in the Brookfield Hotel were verycourteous and polite and very helpful. The Breakfast although this was extra was exremely good and hot. the staff were excellent from waiters to night porter.

The only downside was the fact the bath under the taps was a little bit dirty but of no real consequence

It fully met my requirements of somewhere to stay after partying with members of my family.

Nothing, bearing in mind we only stayed one night.

One of the reasons I liked the hotel was that it was small and friendly, extremely clean and the breakfast was excellent.

The bed was quite squeaky.

I had one night's stay on 1st September 2012. It is a lovely hotel with good parking spaces. The Reception Staff were very helpful. I had arrived early but was allowed to check in. I had a single room ensuite with a good shower. There were coffee and tea making facilities with sufficient sachets for coffee in the evening and two cups of tea in the morning. (It's the little things.) There had been a wedding party on the Saturday evening so I was a little worried about the noise but the event ended at a reasonable hour and I slept well. I had lunch in the hotel on the Sunday. The restaurant was very good and I enjoyed the meal.

For me the decor in the bedroom was a little dull though it was very clean and well maintained.

My sister and I stayed two nights as the location was a short walk to our father's house. Our father had passed away and we held the funeral tea at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating, the hotel very comfortable, especially with the outside garden. The funeral tea was perfect and the scene was set for a sad occasion to be a memorable one. Thank you !
