Breakfast was good value for money.

We were on the top floor which wasn't a problem, but it was very noisy during the night. But i was outside the lift.

Location Lounge area - nice place to chat

Bathroom - small, paint coming off wall, very shabby Room - very tired and in need of renovation, bed very creaky when move, valance sheets on beds dirty and ripped Noise - doors very creaky and banged closed. Didn't get much sleep!!

The welcome and service was very good. Our rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The location was lovely, nice views over a garden and we could see the sea.

Sadly whilst entrance and inside the hotel was clean and well decorated, the outside needed a little attention. Our windows needed a good wash and the area immediatly outside the window needed a good tidy up - broken rooftiles and other debris.

Staff always cheerful and helpful.

The staff were friendly

Hotel facilities were non-existant. The room especially the windows inside were filthy. The size of the shower was a joke, a large person could not have entered. Likewise the shower room and toilet, so small it was a disgrace. Quite honestly, large people could not have used them. Room 214.

we have stayed 3 times now with our dog all have been good experiences.we always look to check its available when planning our trip to Scarborough.

Friendly, good staff, good-size room, good location, good breakfast and excellent evening meal. Very good value for money. Very happy with our 2 night-stay.

It was close to the sea front.

The room had ripped wall paper and very worn out furniture. The bathroom facilities where awful. The room was very expensive for what we got, a small grubby room!!!! There was cobwebs on the walls and ceilings. The lift was very loud and our room was next to it, keeping us up all night. The meals are very expensive, £21.50 for 3 courses and a very dated menu with extremely limiting vegetarian meals, just one choice.

Convenient and easy parking

No soap or shower creams and rooms rather tired. Full of older people on mini breaks. Food basic

It was cheap so I guess I got what I paid for.

Noisy room next to kitchen, exhaust fan outside window, cooking smells from kitchen. Non-existent wifi, suggested I try it in the reception, lounge bar and games room but still no wifi.

The walk back from the front is all uphill, so if you are coming and going back throughout the day, it can become a little tiring. However this is no fault of the hotels just the location

Friendly staff and atmosphere! It was nice and clean and quiet.

We loved the staff, they were great and helpful about parking the car (even after we'd left they informed us we could park for the day for just £2!!! that's great) The location was amazing we just hopped on the cliff lift down to the beach. The high ceilings made the room feel more spacious. The bar and pool table and large tv downstairs were great for us to just relax and have a couple of drinks and a game of pool and then watch Alan Carr chatty man with the other guests :) Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay :)

The television was too high on the wall so when you were led in bed you couldn't see the picture at all :( we ended up sat up on cushions to watch a film.
