The Bruce Inn  

Gorgeous room, delicious food and a very lively bar.

We stayed on a Saturday night so it was pretty noisy when trying to get to sleep, but the good atmosphere made up for it.

Friendly helpful and great location and free for our 5 dogs!!!!

Fantastic value for money at the Bruce Inn. Very well appointed rooms at a very reasonable price. Brilliant breakfast the following morning that was made to order. Really friendly helpful staff. I would definitely visit this area again to appreciate more of the countryside and I would be staying at the Bruce Inn.

A shame that not all the rooms are en suite, but for the price it's really not anything to be grumbled at!

The service and large breakfast both vert good.

I was cold in my bed and it was a bad shower. I don't mind the room being cold when i am in my bed but i like to be warm in bed. This spoiled my night. Also could only get one station on the TV.

A friendly and welcoming inn, with the unique character lacking in the larger hotel chains. Hope to visit longer next time.

Staff very friendly and helpful.Our dogs were made very welcome and no charges for them. Always the staff went the extra mile. Did a good veggie breakfast.

The people were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the character of the old building. While at first a bit worried about the pub below, it didn't bother me and I slept well.

It was impossible to sleep before 3am because of noise and foul language coming from the bar and street below.Apparently this is a regular occurence at weekends particularly if the weather is dry. Also the rooms were not en suite.This being so the accomodation was overpriced.

Fantastic location with very friendly staff. Food, views, architecture all great. Very reasonably priced and very lucky to see Eric Hill band perform....great gig!

Very pleasant service. Comfortable beds and great breakfast.

We were on a cycle tour and they accommodated our wet gear and there was a casual atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and looked out on East Lomond hill.

A friendly family run inn in an interesting location. Used as a stopover en route but places of interest in the area could merit a longer stay.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal hier. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und die Gegend ist sehr schön. Kurze Anfahrt nach St.Andrews.

Sehr zufriedenstellendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Räume waren schlicht, aber sauber, die Leute (Inhaber?) sehr freundlich - wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und haben etwas gesucht, das zwischen St. Andrews (letzte Station einer Schottland-Rundfahrt) und Edinburgh Airport liegt und einen fairen Preis anbietet, dafür war es perfekt.

Die Zimmertür ließ sich nicht abschließen (Schloss defekt), aber wir hatten keinen unwillkommenen Besuch - also no problem

No hot water during the day ? . And we did not get a daily maid service , only small things but when you need a bath in the afternoon it should be warm
