The room (205) was lovely. Very comfortable bed and lovely bedlinen and pilllows. I have stayed here many times and have always been very comfortable HAving stayed here regularly over approx a 5 year period Ia m always amazed that although the staff are very friendly they never seem to realise or recognise that I am a regular visitor. I think they are missing a trick and an opportunity. It doesnt really bother me but I think some people might be offended. Being asked to fill in all the same details on a card each time is tedious and pointless and surely their system should be flagging up a returning visitor.

Hotel in the middle of a refurbishment, which meant lots of wet paint notices on the doors. Turned all the radiators off in the bedroom but room still very hot, opened the window but very noisy as facing the main street.
