Room too cold heating didn't work
Staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Shower/water pressure was good, bed was comfy and clean, room was warm and stayed warm. Well worth the £60 I will definitely be back
Nothing negative to say at all
everything apart from bed
bed was like sleeping on a wooden crate
Ease of finding the place
Quietness of the place, I think we were the only guests staying at the Bull.
The friendliness of the hotel staff and the people from the village helped to make our weekend extra enjoyable. We really appreciated all the effort the hotel made to accommodate us and thanked them for doing just that.
We should've stayed a little longer!
Centre of town easy to find, car parking not a problem. A good solid old building/pub accommodation was clean and adequate for my stay. Had a good pub food burger which was very nice. Breakfast was your typical full English breaky which was also very good. Staff friendly. In all had a very good stay at the Bull, would book again with no problem.
The staff were always smiling and obliging in every way. We slept very comfortably.
The décor is tired and needs refreshing. Chairs in the dining room are grubby and worn so need replacing. Being in a room at the front of the hotel, we were kept awake for quite a while because of the drunken antics of the patrons of the pub opposite.
Good budget accommodation, clean, comfortable and friendly.
The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The hotel was very central for the town and island.
The bathroom in our room could have done with an update/refresh.
Comfortable sleep in spacious room. Convenient location.
Tying window shut with string. Shaving light not working. No hot water. Peeling paintwork. Staff frustrated by Brains' apparent lack of care for the place.
The staff were friendly the room was clean and facilities pretty good The breakfast was really good. Would stay here again
Sheets on the bed were white and crisp
Very noisy creaking bed. Bath taps in first room didn't work and so we were moved to another room. No heating in the bathroom and the radiator in the bedroom was not working. Television came on by itself at 03.00 in the morning. We had to get up to disconnect it. We had very little sleep.
Excellent breakfast using quality ingredients. Friendly helpful staff. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped rooms. Real ales available.
Minor maintenance issues including Bedroom blind didn't work Shower hose leaked
the room, the food, the staff, the location, nice small town with great shops and dining options.
the decor could do with freshening up in the main dining area.
Central location with adequate parking
Double bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom panel was detaching so bathroom looked scruffy
Centre of town, centre of island Good food
Small attic room
Manager of hotel was excellent and, very friendly and, professional
location staff very friendly
Food - First night I decided to eat in. Had a gammon steak and chips. Gammon steak was really hard. Chips were very salty and felt as if it's been fried over and over. Shower - had to wait 30min as only boiling water was coming out of tap. I went down and nobody was at reception despite calling them. When i went back to my room, waited again then the water was ok. price - a bit too expensive for that standard
The staff were friendly enough and went out of their way to assist you.
The food left something to be desired, and some items on the menu were not available.
Room was spacious!
The whole place has seen better days & needs a lot of moneyspending on it to bring it back to how it must have been in its prime. Bathroom dark & fan created a lot of noise each time it was switched on. Breakfast poor, burnt with little choice of "starters. No grapefruit or fresh fruit. Car park not big enough for all patrons to park there.
room clean very roomy warm good food
no easy chair in room car park a bit tight
Friendly staff Comfortable bed
Poor quality food poorly presented. Very noisy room due to traffic outside and a loud clock that chimed every quarter hour!
Staff nice and good breakfast.
I think bathrooms need everything new to be honest very out dated.
Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help and advise. Although Llangefni is small and uninspiring it is very central to Anglesey and a good base to visit anywhere on the Island, it is essentially only 15 minutes from Holyhead Ferry Terminal. The restaurant was good which was a bonus as there was not really anywhere else in town to eat.
The hotel catered mainly for business people so was geared to their requirements rather than the leisure customer, but this did not cause any difficulties. The hotel was a little run down but made up for this in courtesy and service.
