Our room at the hotel was way beyond our expectation, it was large comfortable and very clean. The restaurant service at the Bull was abyssmal. The first night,- long wait for our meal, medium rare steak turned out very well done. Breakfast the next morning - after long wait-got the order wrong.Evening meal that night meal didn't appear,- apparently had been over- looked. You could, maybe understand this if the place was very busy, but there were only eight other people in the restaurant and four of them had nearly finished their meals. Needless to say we got up and left and went up the road to eat.I .would recommend the Bull to stay ,but Not to eat

Hotel staff very friendly. Nice breakfast. Very uncomfortable mattress for the price of the room! not knowing the area we hadn't realised we would be opposite to a bar that played music until midnight, thankfully we didn't arrive back to the hotel long before this ended.

Excellent stay. Staff really friendly and helpful especially when booking. Upgraded to four poster room, the pictures on the web were dated and didn't do the room justice as it had been refurbished and now decorated in red and golds. Had evening meal in hotel although didn't intend to as not many other places to eat in the town but wasn't disappointed. Breakfast was also excellent. Although returning to a cottage later in the year I would return to ther hotel for a meal. Would recommend the hotel.

It is a traditional Inn, serving locals as well as travellers. The food is also traditonal pub fare but good value. Rooms are more than adequate for a couple of nights stay. Staff friendly and helpful. were. The room was a bit small and the decor fading. limited parking in the courtyard especially if the pub is open. Fine if you are passing through as we were.

The staff were extremely attentive & polite even down to remembering my wife didn`t like a large fork, after mentioning this at Dinner which was well cooked & presented. my wife was given a smaller fork for Breakfast aswell, which was also wellcooked & presented. Instant hot water which you don`t get at a lot of the newer hotels. down to the bath not bieng slippy when standing for a shower great. The radiators were a bit noisy during the night. no remote controle for the TV.

Very convenient family friendly hotel in a lovely old building with big family rooms, nice staff and a pleasingly popular local bar and dining room. Great regular stop off for us en-route to Ireland Via Holyhead.

This was our second stay this year at the Bull. Last time we stayed in one of the rooms in the courtyard, which was very pleasant and convenient. For anyone sensitive to noise, asking for a courtyard room would be advisable. We had a front room overlooking the street and the noise from a club opposite was loud and raucous.I Should add it was a Friday night when we stayed and perhaps it was more lively than average. This obviously is not the fault of management. Service in the restaurant was good and the food was hearty. This hotel gives very good value for what it charges aannd we like it as a stopover en route to the Irish Sea ferry. We would stay there if touring locally in Anglesey.

It was very quaint and the staff was nice. It was a short stay and the town was basically closed due to a bank holiday while we were there so that may have tainted our visit. Could use a little updating.
