The Bull’s Head And Lodge is a traditional English pub in the village of Hale Barns, just 2 miles from Manchester Airport. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. Really friendly staff on our second visit to The Bull. Rooms are spacious & very clean with good food ( excellent breakfast ) next door in the pub. We will return.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious for U.K. standards. The location was very convenient (Manchester airport) and quiet. Altrincham is a lovely area. We would stay here again. Blankets were a bit worn.

The Bulls Head Lodge was perfectly situated in the lovely suburb of Hale, with access to Manchester Airport in less than 10 minutes. It is a traditional pub, with the hotel accommodation in a self-contained annex, and ample parking. There are pleasant views from the rooms across the bowling green. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good facilities and excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced - would book again without hesitation! Only a very minor point, but the pub could do with a lick of paint on the outside

Spacious room, very comfortable bed, decent size bath & good power shower, desk, comfortable leather chair, free wifi (all the time, unlike Premier Inn!), quiet location. Absolutely top rate hotel & friendly staff. Highly recommend. Nothing really - maybe a wider selection of real ales in the pub (any chance of my favourite - Joseph Holt's Maple Moon?), but that's it.

Clean, affordable, near the airport and with a good pub and food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Could not figure out the shower/tub arrangement, had to let the shower fill the tub.

The price, the comfort and it was clean. Just right for an overnight stay. As we were at a party at Ringway Golf Club it was in the perfect location. For the one night we stayed there we did not find anything we did not like.

Hale location. If you've never been to Hale you have missed an excellent small village atmosphere with top restaurants and night spots and classy hot vibe Bull's head food is awful. Don't eat there but do east in any of Hale's excellent restaurants.

It's a very convenient and reasonably priced stop-over for Manchester airport. Staff were more than friendly and helpful. Rooms and surroundings were bright and clean, and a sturdy cot was provided for our 3yr. old. The attractive pub alongside provided excellent meals and a welcoming ambience. Altogether a surprisingly good experience ---far better than the usual over-priced, cookie-cutter Airport chains. Nothing.

Very friendly smiling crew, really good grub and excellent buffet breakfast (good beer and wine also). More than helpful Gill when I needed real help, forwarding by express mail the same day (to Canada) something I had left in error at the Bulls Head. Being close to the airport is great, and being a real British pub with a comfortable country style place to stay is more than a real plus.

Staff were super helpful and friendly, it's a perfect location for Manchester airport yet very quiet, not the most modern but that doesn't matter as it is clean and well kept. Great price, would definitely stay again No complaints

Inexpensive, friendly & helpful staff, very quiet, good food & beer. Convenient for the airport (£8 taxi ride). I would recommend the Bull's Head to anyone looking for inexpensive yet very pleasant accommodation. Room fittings somewhat worn & mattress "tired" though not uncomfortable despite my having a back injury

The staff were very helpful after we arrived very late. A shame we werent able to eat in the pub because it looked very welcoming and would probably had good food and drink!The night porter on duty at 4.30 am was very good. Difficult to find!
