The Bull's Head Inn  

My stay at The Bulls Head was made even more pleasant by the very friendly staff and the clean and comfortable room. I would certainly return and recommend it to my friends.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel was good and the staff where friendly, the room was compact but everything you needed! The breakfast nice and there was plenty of it!

The shower was terrible and the place looked like it needed a lick of paint and a bit of a tart up! I would stay again if I was in the area but I couldn't imagine staying for more than 1 - 2 nights.

friendly service,nothing too much trouble, lovely meals, menu adapted to suit persons needs if one asked,proprietors always availabe. went on a 3 night break, would return if in the area again. chris and mel

Beautiful location - great for exploring Shropshires lovely countryside and market towns

Although sold as a a hotel the room we were given was clearly set up for self catering. The kitchen was useful, but when paying as hotel guests we would have expected the room to be serviced (which it wasn't). Although the rooms are all non-smoking our room contained some ancient furniture which was brown and stinky from years of smoking guests. We really wanted to love the Bull's Head and it has masses of potential, but the owners could do with a visit from Alex Polizzi to point them in the right direction!

We stayed on a very wet, rainy Sunday night. Disappointed to find the restaurant, which had good reviews, was closed on Sunday evenings. This is mentioned in VERY small print on the establishment's website so we missed it prior to booking. Aware we were unlikely to find a good restaurant in nearby Bridgnorth without walking in the rain, we ended up making a 26-mile round-trip to Stourbridge for dinner. Breakfast, although generously-sized was mediocre with undercooked bacon and sausages. Had to wait at least 10 minutes for attention when we checked-in, and even longer for attention when we checked-out. We definitely expected more for our money here.

It was ideal for a weekend trip the area and The Bull's Head was in ideal location for our needs. The Staff were friendly and the food was of a good quality. It was a pity about the weather but thats life. Thank you for a lovelly weekend. Mick and Chris Green

Made extremely welcome

the friendly relaxed atmosphere and excellent value for money.the breakfast was served by the lovely landlady and it was red hot and very tasty.

the only small complaint which is being very picky was the awful coffee served in the bedroom. nescafe wouldnt go amiss

from the moment we arrived we were treated very well.. the room was lovely, the bed comfortable , the facilities were as described and suited us well. the meals we had were lovely and well presented, the breakfast was delightful and freshly cooked. in all, our stay was excellent.. I would definitely stay again.

we didnt know that there was live music on the saturday night, and after a family day out and 5 hours of driving I was very tired. went to bed early and couldnt sleep until later due to the live music, which wa lovely when I was downstairs, but not when I went to bed. but hey, thats me being an old git.. no worries for most people.

Our stay was in the old part of the Inn with beams in the room and uneven floors. The facilities were good though and the beds comfortable but some brighter lighting would have been helpful. We had an evening meal on our first night which was good and the breakfasts were excellent - well cooked and piping-hot. The location was ideal for visits to Ironbridge and the Severn Valley Railway on the agenda. Check-in and out was painless - all in all an enjoyable stay.

Other than the low lighting level in the room - nothing of note.

Fantastic would be an understatement for my stay here. It was refreshing to find a place that really wanted you to enjoy your stay with them, everyone was friendly, management, staff and locals. The improptu jammin session in the bar in the evening with the owner and the chef was something else. Food was first class in the evening with a wide choice of fresh local food. Breakfast was a feast to behold. Should you ever be in the area just pop in for a pint or lunch and you will see for yourself. A number of luxury well known branded hotels could learn a lot from the Bulls Head Inn with regard to guest satisfaction. My thanks to the management, staff and locals for a great stay.

Th accommodation was lovely. Just exactly what we wanted. The staff were very helpful too. Our breakfast was great,fantastic choice. Will definitely be going back soon. That is where we will stay from now on when we go to Bridgnorth.
