Staff were friendly and the breakfast good.
Room was tired and needed updating.
Friendly staff, good pub, food choice limited but good. Room large and comfortable.
Bathroom very poor standard - clean but no shelves at all, shower had poor water flow and pressure. Also, had to ask for toilet roll, as failed to replenish during the day.
The breakfast is delicious.
Evening meal time could do with extending.
The staff were friendly & the food was good.it was a friendly hotel & the local people in the pub were friendly as well.
The thing I didn't like was the room it was a standard room which needed work doing to it & decorating.
A very friendly hotel, Good staff, A happy atmosphere, Car parking. The staff were always interested in what you were doing each day.
Tight entrance to car park
Good all round really
Fairly narrow entrance from street to large rear car park - but got through without scrapes - there's loads of parking space.
large family room with partition for bunk beds for children. New spacious bathroom Dog friendly. Good quality food for dinner and breakfast
bunk beds were rather uncomfortable for the children
spacious room, quiet, very central location in Sedbergh
windows didn't open properly, resulting in mildew by the windows, wallpaper flaking off. breakfast was mediocre.
The area around Sedbergh.
Bed too small, en suite too cramped, nowhere to hang towels or place toilet roll.
Nice location. Friendly staff. Decent food. Good sized room.
Room was falling apart with age. Paper hanging from ceiling.Wooden windows and ledges in the bathroom were rotten. Stained carpets. Holes in walls.......
A very warm welcome. Could not be more helpful and the food was great.
The Bull is a lovely old hotel in a nice town in the gorgeous Dales. It was comfortable and well located on the Main Street in the middle of town. A lovely place.
The room .. it was old and rundown. The windows had mould growing and the furniture was of poor quality. Walls were very thin, and conversation could be clearly heard next door. The bedding and towels were clean, but the overall impression was one of being in need of attention and investment ...
Excellent room which was spacious, clean and welcoming with everything for a family travelling.
Tricky access to car park!!!!
Centrally located in town. Good breakfast
Bathroom needed renewing & room in need of redecorating.
The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff - nothing was any trouble The food - both breakfast and our meals on an evening were excellent and good value for money
There was nothing we didnt like - though our rooms were in need of a little tlc but nothing that would put us off from returning next year
old and threadbare the dining room was nice but the bar seemed to attract some seroius drinkers the overall atmosphere was a bit gloomy.
Friendly staff and the local customers in bar made us feel like 'regulars'. Very well sited for visiting the Dales and the Lakes. Excellent value for the money we paid.
Good food & ales.great area for walking and cycling . Relaxed atmosphere . Friendly and competent staff.
Helpful staff. Quiet room. Very good evening meal
Very tight turn into the car park! They can't do anything about it, but it is tricky.
Good position on High Street with parking, though tricky access for bigger vehicles.
Hotel was somewhat "tired", in substantial need of refurbishment.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The food service and quality of the food.
The access to the car park and the stairs to the various floors. These two points are inevitable because of the age and type of hotel. However the staff made things very much easier.
Friendly, comfortable and unpretentious in a lovely location. Very good breakfasts. Generous hospitality.
Real ale in good condition.
Car park is not accessible in a large family car; parked on street 250 metres from hotel.
