Score from 194 reviews Good
Bedside lamp didn't work, bathroom fan a bit noisy.
The rooms and food were fantastic and we couldn't argue with the price all round brilliant place to stay.
The staff were not very welcoming or happy!
The room was clean and comfortable and public areas well appointed. There is a choice of bars, both of which serve decent, reasonably priced good.
Not the friendliest of welcomes at check in. There appeared to be only one person to deal with check in, manning the bar and serving food.
Everything & brilliant value for money!
The food and traditional style pub feel, Wifi good and large flat screen TV in bedroom
The hand pulled Black Sheep wasn't up to much
Bed Food - great steak Room decor Very homely feel
Wifi a little intermittent which is annoying with lots of work to do
Stony Stratford is a welcoming place for a nice night out. For us it was an easy bus ride to Stadium MK. Bletchley Park is a national treasure which we should all see and support. The Bull is a great venue to visit these places from.
Comfortable, clean room. Black out blinds/curtains - a really good nights sleep! Good breakfast (including veggie options).
The Bull is the only place I'd stay in Stony Stratford.. This is a completely refurbished hotel with all the amenities you'd expect from a good quality locally run l establishment.. ..from modern nicely decorated clean rooms, to friendly staff.. the breakfasts are extremely good as well !
..All Good... 11 out of 10 !
Cock and Bull room Food Cleanliness Friendliness of staff Wifi
Noise from smokers outside of the Vault bar late at night
The hotel was well worth the money
Breakfast was awful
The rooms, the view, the interior, the bar area and the price.
The staff!!!!! The lack of organisation. The poor menu choice. The early bar closing times and no late check-out option.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Noise from neighbouring Vaults bar.
lovely room plenty of tea/coffee quirky hotel
no toilet roll on arrival
Location Price Nice rooms Comfy bed Convenient, free parking Good history of the hotel Rooms and hotel had great character
Reception area was just a table by the bar. Manager could have been a little more welcoming. Dinner was ok, but nothing special. Carpet in the room was not clean. The "free" wi fi was not working during our stay
Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Easy Parking. Excellent Breakfast.
Can't think of anything we didn't like. Only stayed for 1 night, wish we had time to stay another night.
No lift, and no offer to help with bags or escorted to the room. Which may not be too bad on the face of this statement, but when you are in your 80's and placed in a room with 2 flights of stairs it is just rude. A terrible first impression, no front of house manners, the younger staff however were more helpful during the stay. Noise from the street every night. Will not use this hotel again and will not recommend. You would be better staying at the Cock hotel a few doors down.
The quality of the room and the comfortable bed.
The sausages at breakfast. That really is a minor criticism.
The room was very conformable and had quality fittings
The staff were not very welcoming or friendly.
Room was a double but still very small
Beautiful room, very spacious and lovely decor, perfect location
Everything about this was better than expected. Lovely Coaching Inn that has been refurbished very well, great location, plenty of car parking, staff very friendly, can't fault it.
Thought drinks were slightly expensive in the bar but parr for the course really. Apart from that no problems and would def stay here again and recommend.
The bedroom decor Helpful staff Off road parking
The noise at night. The people drinking in the pub spilled out into the street and made a noise until after closing time.
