Warm, Elegant and Tasteful decor throughout. Bedroom was clean and well presented.
Bathroom wasn't very clean and was a bit dated.
Location, decor, nice comfortable room, on site car park
Homely and festive
No soda in function room!!
Great location food excellent esp in the restaurant! Lovely to relax in the bar with a coffee or drink and then just step out to do some Hassle free shopping! Staff very friendly and helpful!
There was nothing to dislike
No lift to upper floors.
I was very happy with my room
I stayed as we were having our christmas party at The Bull. However the food was not worth the £37 paid. The main meal was lacking in all areas.
The shower and bed
Drafty from window
Very quiet in executive hallway.
Initially given room that was not as booked. Stairs a problem for those with mobility issues.
Location and Safe Parking. East access to Cathedral square and the centre of town, and Queensgate mall.
The initial room we were asigned was on a floor whare the entiure passage, some rooms were under renovation. Wall per being replaced, carpets too. When I went to reception to voice my unhappyness, the perosn I dealt with said all rooms were fully booked and that we could not be moved. Upon my request to be moved to another hotel, an alternate room was found. The concierge was quite sloppy in appearance, and smelt terribly of cigarette smoke. The beds were ver poor in comfort, and seemed very well used - time for a change. The TV mounted on the wall was of a poor angle, and should be changed. The shower tended to have water spalshed all over the floow. A bettre shower curtain should be installed. We were not informed of the fee Wi Fi in the Hotel. At 111 pounds per nite, excluding breakfast, the value received was poor. Comparitalvely in London, we stayed in two Hotels of very similar value, with breakfast and had rooms far more comfortable, with more modern facilities. Such a dissapointment.

Room was clean, comfortable and warm Location is good for shopping and eating
Breakfast was not inviting ! The buffet was warm and unattractive . I thought it was expensive for what was on offer .
Perfectly nice hotel, large rooms, nice beds, excellent bathrooms & showers - free wifi!
The staff were not at all helpful seemed disinterested. Also; we were charged twice for breakfast.
Free wi fi
We always enjoy the Bull and have visited as a couple and with friends over the past 2 years the location is brilliant the atmosphere is always good with polite staff
On this occasion we did not like the amount of noise in the corridors around 10:30 in the evening and also in the early hours. We did speak to a member of staff about this as we left. I was also shocked at the state of the Bath taps in our room 206 there was quite a lot of mould surrounding the base of the taps which was very unsightly not nice to look at when your bathing it does not take much to remove this. The bull is a clean hotel so we were very disappointed on this occasion. I would also like to comment that on our last stay there was an incident with the Fire alarm that disturbed the guests, we were promised a free room upgrade & Breakfast when we left, for our next visit, we would prefer to take advantage of this at the same time as our friends that we meet in Peterborough but would expected for this to be at least mentioned from our booking, very disappointed marred our visit slightly may be a while before we visit again all things considered such a shame.
Very well kept hotel with clean rooms and atmosphere. Very good price. Good facilities.
There was nothing negative.
dated look and feel, like something out of the 1970's
The hotel has ambience and space for quiet drinks so ideal for those who wanted peace and serenity.
Difficult to find hotel car parking behind the hotel! I asked a taxi driver for directions only to find it a mere 100 yards away!
STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL
Clean room, good breakfast
Needs more signage to help find the car park at the rear of the hotel.
Attentive of staff
Staff very friendly and lots of character in the hotel.
Bed too small and lumpy. Had a backache for 2 days after.
We booked an executive suite which was advertised with a queen sized bed. On arrival discovered this was a small old double bed. The staff changed our room to a king executive.
The executive room didn't match the photos/advertising info. Small bed, small room, single glazing. The king size room was very noisy due to the air conditioning ducts.
Really hard to find the entrance to the car park, as tucked away. Had problems getting out of the car park next day, as the ticket didnt work. Bed too hard, room freezing cold. No remote for TV. Additional £13 for 'hot' breakfast, which was a buffet and was cold. Towels and floor mat removed from my bathroom - even though I hung them up - but they were not replaced. No welcome on arrival - just told that payment was up front and the card machine put in front of me. Staff unable to cope with busy breakfast, had to queue/wait to be seated! Also my tea didnt arrive at all. Food overpriced. Four stars - a joke!!!
nice place to stay ,taxi was very reasonable food good good acess to queensgate
drinks maybe little pricey
Had everything I needed Convenient Free, secure parking
Slow check in and check out A little expensive
