    Staff, room, location

We were attending a wedding at Yorebridge House - please note that taxis are very limited in the area - pre-book as far in advance as possible.

Lovely soft beds and delicious breakfast

Loved the converted vault bedroom, but due to it being below ground it lacked a window which I missed

Loved the central location, the staff were great, easy going, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are a little tired, loose curtain rails and dodgy shower door

We loved everything about our stay at the Bulls Head. We were really pleased with our room, Helen could not do enough for us without being obtrusive, the surrounding area is fabulous and the breakfast was really tasty, served by a lovely waitress. Top marks!

The property was central ideal for shops, pubs etc.

We made the booking under the impression that as it was called The Bulls Head Hotel it was a hotel so we were rather shocked when it turned out to be a bed and breakfast. We do think that it must be made quite clear that it is not a hotel.

Hawes is a very cosy place with some great pubs and perfectly situated within the Dales. The hotel location has a convenient central location, the hosts are very friendly and breakfast is excellent as well

We had the basement rooms, which we didn't particularly like (they were quite humid, had a typical basement smell and did not have direct daylight), but maybe we should have realised that when booking them :-) It was okay for one night, but I would definitely not book these rooms if you plan on staying for a longer time.

What a great little find in the Dales. A really lovely host who made us and our big dog feel really at home. The hotel was ideal for our short walking break, comfortable, clean, great breakfast, dog friendly and relaxed. Some B&Bs and hotels can be a bit uptight and prissy but the Bulls Head is cosy, clean and comfortable in a rustic/relaxed way. 10 out of 10 from us.

    Nothing.

Helen was really helpful and when we said that we had to be up at 5am to go do the 3 peaks she showed us where everything was so we could at least make a little continental breakfast.

The toilets do make alot of noise but can understand that. But would still recommend it

I had the attic and the view over Buttertubs pass was superb. The breakfast was very satisfying and it was a fantastic place to break my trip to Farne Island

Friendly, helpful staff. Substantial, good quality breakfast cheerfully served. Exceptionally quiet bedroom - didn't hear other guests at all, and it was fully booked. Very comfortable beds - slept like logs! Will definitely return.

There was no blind on the large velux roof window and at least two windows in the main building over-look it. The velux is not directly over the beds but does make one feel a little exposed.

Would absolutely recommend The Bulls Head Hotel. Helen was very kind sorting out an earlier problem elsewhere, has excellent local knowledge and she is very friendly and approachable.

Our private en-suite was across a small landing but the gorgeous four-poster bed more than compensated!
