The pub had a really good atmosphere and the food was good and served in atimely fashion even though the pub was very busy.
The public bar was going through a re fit and this made these cond bar extremely busy.
Great breakfast and modern room
Friendly and efficient reception, good atmosphere. Very homely feel about the place. We arrived early expecting to just to leave our luggage and go. We not only got our room straight away but we were upgraded. Overall, very good experience which was welcome after a very early flight.
Breakfast. Very slow service.
The reception accommodated very late arrival without any problems. Kind and professional staff. Very nice breakfast. Decent rooms with not too bad beds and pillows. Good pressure on hot water as this seems to be an issue in many UK homes and hotels. Nice and quaint surroundings. Extra plus for free WiFi. I'd rather pay more for ahotel with WiFi included than a chapter hotel with WiFi cost separate. It shows that management has understood what running ahotel is all about. I usually stay with big chains (Hilton, Sheraton, Radisson etc) as I have had some poor experiences with hotels in the past in the UK. This was a trial run as I needed to be in the area. I will for sure be considering this hotel if I need to stay local in the future. I also write this review to confirm all other reviews which were very helpful when I picked the hotel.
Floor was wobbly and the cabinet moved with it in an unnerving way causing its doors to bang. Air condition was somewhat weak.
Rooms and location was fine. Staff very friendly!
It was adequate for two nights.
Price at the bar - too much, seeing as the prices in Chislehurst centre were far less expensive. Packed car park with builder's vans blocking the entrance and exit making it difficult to manoeuvre.
Very pleasant hotel with a good atmosphere for a pub
I use this pub a lot - it's very good all round.
Can't get the wi-fi to work
Comfortable and good location
At £4.89 a pint of Lager is a scandal! There is absolutely no excuse for that kind of pricing other than pure greedy, for that reason alone I would not stay there again.
Very polite and helpfull staff. Quality of the room
Parking was a challenge so consider arriving at less busy times.
All the staff were extremely helpful and they manage to get my suit pressed in 30 mins. Amazing!
Loved the stay from arrival to departure. Staff could not be any more helpful. Top Top hotel
Wifi kept dropping off. But nothing major.
WiFi was down for a period
Stayed there quite a few times now - it's always good
The food was excellent, so was the beer, the barmaids, the rooms, the parking and it was 50 yds from our worksite!
Good food. Busy bars and large beer garden, but plenty of space. Good en suite. Handy location for local wedding.
Rooms a bit airless. Why, oh why deos every bed now have to be bedecked with cushions and bits of cloth? You just have to find somewhere to put them, fall over them in the night in a small room and/or get too hot. Funny that they see "fashionable cushions" as a plus. Disco was very loud, but couldn't be heard in the rooms.
nice place, great breakfast, nice staff, great car park, grounds and great location.
WIFI kept cutting out, décor was a bit tired but mainly that they don't offer room service, they weren't really busy and they couldn't accommodate it for me. Daft really as I ended up going to Domino's pizza so they lost my business and could have made extra on tray service. I would stay there again but only if they introduce room service.
the informality and the helpful staff
Good food with excellent staff and great facilities.
Room rate is far to expensive for a single traveller.
The staff and the service provided Together with the quality of food on the breakfast menu
Unfortunately when the bathroom was in use during the night the glass door enabled the lighting to illuminate the bedroom which was unsettling.
No parking fees. In the Kent countryside but close to London
All of the above. Food was excellent as was the rest of the hotel.
The scam email and phone call I received asking me to pay the bill into a bank account in London before I arrived. The couldn't care less attitude of the staff when I asked about it when I was staying there. Also we complained that one couple had been upgraded to a suite and the other to a slightly larger room. The evening manager said she would report to the overall manager but they never got back to us about our complaint.
Happy friendly staff very comfortable room and good location
From the minute we arrived at the bulls head hotel, the staff were very friendly and couldn't help us enough, they helped us with any enquiries we had and made our trip much easier and pleasant. Also the place was very clean and tidy and fresh tea and coffee facilities were put in our room everyday. The food was very nice and the staff could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again myself.
