Score from 413 reviews Excellent
Nice staff , great location, very close to train station
This is a shared toilet inn and the toilet was under repair. So we had to share the toilet with another en suite room toilet which was extremely inconvenient. And to make things worse that toilet was in horrible state. I just couldn't take it any longer n quickly packed my bags and left for another hotel. What a great escape.
It was very friendly and funny girl at the reception. Good location, value for money and cosy place. The common area and sleeping room were clean. You can relax on the soft sofa with tv inside or on the terrace.
welcoming staff, and helpful,
Clean Hostel, nice staff girl who was bit funny :) Breakfast in the morning, they even had some fruits, everything was brilliant, met two cool dudes - greetings to Miguel (traveling football fanatic from Mexico) and another name can't remember, sorry :)
Maybe would be nice to have a towel in the bathroom, because I didnt had one with me. But I think it was mentioned that I could rent or buy one I think...
we only stayed for 1 nite, accessible kitchen and facilities.
Have to wait outside for check in. Luckily we only waited for 30 mins, the other guy before us waited 1.5hrs. A bit off the city center, but close to the train station
Very cleanly hostel, great staff. Decent size rooms with en-suite and an additional toilet/shower in case the en-suite is occupied Good facilities - well-equipped kitchen, nice garden with cosy sofa, nice lounge with tv, books, DVD selectioin. Location near the railway station and good choice of takeaways and cafes nearby for breakfast or late-night pizza.
Two other guests were inconsiderate to rude, but that's of course none of the hostel's fault. Wifi wasn't working when I tried it (I didn't raise this with staff as I didn't really need it).
The bunk beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the common room had a couch - which came in handy, because that's where I ended up spending the night, thanks to the loud snorer in my room!
I had to rate quality of sleep as 'poor', but that had nothing to do with the hostel itself, rather, one of my roommates.
Kitchen for own use good location Friendly helpful owners
Parking was only free within certain hours which meant getting up early to pay for.
It was very clean and easily accessible and everything that was needed was there.
The room felt a bit cold at first in the evening and it was a bit small.
Very friendly atmosphere
friendliness and relaxed social atmosphere
Early vacation of room
The owners are really friendly and helpful Tidy and clean, the bed was solid and comfortable, I liked the decoration Right next to the main road
This is only if you have a car, the hostel doesn't have private parking so you only have free parking from 3 pm to 8 am during the week (from what I've seen)
The staff was so kind and friendly. A room was clean and comfortable. wi-fi was available in the room.
I was looking for a cheap bed for one night and was very pleased with the welcome I received, the accommodation, the garden area and the free tea. This is an excellent hostel.
Staff very helpful
Is within walking distance to Town Center. A smaller hostel, nice atmosphere.
You have to close the windows to get sleep as the street is quite busy. But with closed windows it's very ok.
Really enjoyed our stay
The hosts were so friendly and kind I could have stayed so much longer. Everything is clean and comfy.
You can hear the road from the room but it gets quiet at night so it's okay
Excellent location. Clean bathroom. Clean bed.
Good location Friendly welcoming staff Good value for money
Room smelt unpleasant
It was close to everything
The standards were poor but of course u get what u pay for
I really liked everything about this hostel. I've stayed in quite a few throughout Britain and this was by far the best. Everything was in good shape and clean. I felt very comfortable there; the atmosphere was much like a home more than a hostel. The staff was welcoming and fun to talk to, as well. It also seemed quite safe; the door lock combo was reassuring. I'm definitely recommending The Bunkroom to everyone I know.
I wish reception was open more hours during the day, but I understand that the staff needs time off. Other than that, I have no complaints at all!
Everything was brilliant would book again for sure! If all hostels are like this then I would forget hotels!
