Score from 129 reviews Fabulous
-clean -comfortable bed -kettle in the room -small but very clean bathroom -nice staff
-the walls need refreshment -the window wasn't airtight
Comfort and cleanliness of accommodation. Quiet aspect next to square. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money for a London hotel. Proximity to Earls Court tube station and shops.
It was reasonably priced
Pillows were hard and lumpy
Clean and very roomy. Good service at the reception.
Heating was not on during a colkd day.
Staff v friendly
The blind fell off the wall as soon as i touched it. It was supposed to be refurbished but the room was quite tatty. Bathroom clean though.
Good location Comfy bed Very quiet
Location was really good. Nice and quiet side street in the Kensington area, 5 minutes away from restaurants, Earls Court station etc. Even though the Wi-Fi was supposed to work only on the 1st floor, it even somehow worked on the 3rd floor. Wifi on the 1st floor was good. We liked the room and also there were nice tea packs in the corridor, making it really good to pick up some tea before heading to the room in the evening :)
The window of the room was really bad, so I got some cold during the night. Heating did not work as well and there was some electric radiator, that was not sufficient enough. During winter time, this place may be really cold. The staff should take care of their windows.
beautiful area, very close to the underground, kind receptionist, very clean, free access laptop with internet, free access tablet with internet in the reception, free coffee and tea every time you wanted to and a boiler for water in the room,
there was a door in the room that was locked probably to contact our room with the other in order to make it bigger if the customer wanted to. the floor was wooden and inclined, hadn't got wi-fi on the upper floors, hadn't got an elevator (4 floors), no refrigerator in the room, very small closet, the door of the toilet was like the saloon doors with a space of 2 cm between the 2 doors and the toilet was right behind these doors...the result is obvious...
I love this hotel, the wifi was better than last time i stayed there. The location is a big plus.
The room was very small
It was dirty, the staff really unpolite, the hotel and the room were falling into pieces, the room was cold, there is not an elevator, there is no security (to enter at night you just have to enter a number that everyone knows and it never changes). If you're considering booking a room here, change it's soon enough to change your mind. For what you pay for it, it is not worth it.
a hotel should be clean and comfortable and that is what the paramount is: a no frills clean and comfortable hotel.
There is no bath mat, so it is unsafe getting out of the shower onto the tiled floor
location, nice bed, warm, comfort shower.
The wifi reached even to our room so that was nice. We visited in november and the room was very well heated and comfortable. Hotel is very close to several restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and a pharmacy. The surroundings vere quiet, the hotel too.
There could be more towels in the room.
The night staff that welcomed me was a real gent. Took his time to explain everything, free coffee tea and biscuits. Clean modernised room Clean bathroom plenty of towels. Looked out to a community garden Off the main street reduced traffic noise
Could do with double glazing.
This is a very comfortable hotel which is in an excellent location and giving excellent value for money.
Sometimes the angle of the TV makes it impossible to watch.
Location, room, staff. This really is a great hotel at an excellent price.
Pillows really lumpy and almost 'broken'!
Short walk to Exhibition Centre, Tube & Restaurants on Earls Court Road Room was warm Water was hot Bed was clean Basement room - was quiet
Ridiculously Small Shower - couldn't move and we are small people! Tiny 'Double' bed - one of us slept on floor every night. Decor peeling/dirty Staff twice left our sash window wide open despite our complaining about it the first time; our room contained pc and other valuables etc and was easily accessible from the communal garden area
It was a very nice and well cleaned room. The bed was comfortable and there was a small TV, closet, shower, WC,.. everything was clean and properly disposed. It is just a 5 min walk from the tube Earl's Court and not far from Kensington high street
the noise of the other costumers.I assume that the thickness of the walls is just not enough. But just a small inconvenience that can be helped with a pair of earplugs !
Was within a few minutes walk of Earl's Court Underground stop. Room was small and basic, but modern and clean.
The hotel u can see is been renewed and the room look cool ...friendly staff
They haven't any lift if they give u the room at the third floor is a problem carry the suite case.... And the bed ...the bed was really bad it was small like a single one for too people and the size of the room as well too small
The location wasn't too far from the Earl's Court tube station and there were many restaurants around for food. The location was excellent and strategic. The hotel room was very clean and they provided the clean towels and soap. The room was just right for a solo traveler. The staff were quite helpful and friendly, unlike those in other hotels. There were biscuits, tea and coffee available on all floors for the guests. Will definitely stay here again. Excellent place!
The bed was a little hard and there was no lift and there were too many stairs to reach the top floor where my room was located at. Although the hotel had free wifi, the connection seemed strong only in within the vicinity of the hotel lobby on the ground floor.
The price for the location was fair, the room had all the basic amenities one could require for a short stay (a few hangers, small side table, hair dryer, iron, etc.). The shower was very good (nice temperature and pressure).
The bed was not very comfortable; I would have probably really disliked this had I been at this hotel for a longer, leisure stay. The hotel was also extremely noisy; it seems the insulation is not very good as I could hear people from several rooms around speak and watch TV late at night.
- perfect location - close to the undeground station - quiet - room was much bigger and nicer than I've expected - lovely and helpful staff - cheap
- the lack of lift might be a problem for some people
The location is perfect, close to tube station and just a few stops from all the top places to visit in London. The room is much bigger than it looks in photos and very comfortable. Compare to other hotels in London in that price is perfect. There is a big tesco just a few minutes away which is open 24 hours
There is no lift, so if you stay in fourth floor you need to be in great form....
it was small.
