Was very comfortable and it has very welcoming staff
Think there should be sanitary bins in bathrooms
The hotel was excellent, all staff helpful and pleasant. Friends party was brilliant and only a short walk from the Burnside train station.
The newly renovated bar is lovely. Such a contrast to the other parts of the hotel which require upgrading.
The rooms. Very dated and in need of upgrading. Such a contrast to the newly renovated bar area which is stunning .
Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff who were willing and able to be flexible when appropriate. Location served my needs splendidly. The room was a delight.
Nothing, all was fine.
We stayed in the burnside hotel for the Scotland and Ireland match. I can highly recommend the burnside hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable and spotless but the burnsides greatest asset is their amazing staff. They couldn't do any more for us if they tried. If I ever return to Glasgow the burnside is the only hotel I would stay in
The reception people where nice.
1 off the windows wasn't opening properly in my room .
Food was very good
Area convenient on visiting family but would not stay here again
The food wasn't much good nearly £10 for gammon meal eggs raw gammon was a value one you get from asda.lamps in bedroom didn't work .hotel is right next to railway line trains every 20 mins.
Staff and restaurant
Restaurant service a bit slow
The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The bedroom and bathroom very clean. The friendly atmosphere. Dinner choice was very good and so was the quality of the food served hot and on hot plates. No bother if someone did not want a full meal but wanted a child's portion and likewise no problem if a diner wanted the sauce served separately. Similarly with breakfast an excellent choice. Food can be regarded as very good value for money.
No bottles of "real ale" type beers - but not a show stopper as good choice of keg beers. However, did not check the main bar - used only the lounge bar
Everything was good.
Didn't like when people where walking by it made a lot of noise outside the room in the hotel part from that everything was all good.
The receptionist on duty, a lovley girl with long blonde hair was the only helpful person in the building.
Th building, the atmosphere, the male waiter that was on breakfast, he puffed and panted at any request we had, he was lazy and loved the bunch of keys hanging off himself!
Staff very friendly Food excellent Service excellent
Train line about 6ft away from our room
Very comfortable bed and spacious room.
It is a little bit far from city center.
the bar and dining rooms were nice
no bacon at breakfast !! sullen waitresses the bedrooms really need upgrading
Staff were very friendly. Food was good. Location in terms of access to my locations was good.
Room wasn't good. Broken sink, bath panel, shower screen. Room smelt of disinfectant on arrival and lasted until the next day. Had to ask for air freshener to mask it. Wi-Fi not brilliant but free although security of site was in doubt.
My husband & I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfasts were great - anything we wanted - large or small -with a great selection. We will certainly stay here again.
The fact that people actually steal the hairdryers is disgusting - but by asking at the reception desk these are happily supplied. there is nothing about the hotel that we didnt like
the room was excellent, the food was very good, the staff were very helpful .The location was good
There was nothing to dislike.
