nice clean apartment,dog friendly
no wifi in apartment but could get wifi in the pub itself
Had a brilliant time. Location fantastic for walking too. Lovely clean appartment with the comfiest bed ever!!
Nice to have an apartment on our travels, with a little lounge/kitchenette to relax in, and the ability to make tea and toast. Friendly landlady.
Nothing. The rooms are basic but comfortable so don't expect luxury, but a great place to stay over at for a night or two.
Nothing there are more places available in that price
Everything the accommodation was poor it was freezing cold the kitchen appliances were dated . No microwave . Bed was pathetic and bumpy . Very small toilet
The apartment was warm and comfortable. Check in was easy. Plenty of offroad carparking. Great vlue for money.
We liked the amount of space we had! Good value too!
Can't say there was anything we didn't like!
accomodation good and clean if a bit basic. good parking. good views of area.
no one available on arrival. when arrived mid afternoon. situated on main road.
Bar lady was very helpful. Rooms were very big and had everything you could need for a few nights stay
Cozy apartment atmosphere! The owner, did our laundry for us too, free of charge.
Steps could be an issue for some people - we were OK with this.
spacious comfy bed good size kitchen strong shower very clean
Fridge was turned off, didn't realise so our food spoiled TV is tiny Was very cold when we arrived
The comfortable and clean apartment, and the comfort of the bed and bedding. Bus stop only a 100 yards away to visit local attractions or for walking. Lovely to walk into Rippendon and eat at the Bridge Inn
minimal cooking utensils - however it was perfectly adequate for the 4 days we stayed. - The food at the Bridge Inn is not to miss!!!!
Great location for touring the area by car or walking, excellent local facilities - small supermarket, pubs and restaurants.
Fridge didn't work No hanging space for outdoor coates - a problem when wet Lot of foot noise from upstairs
spacious rooms; freshly painted and quite tastefully decorated; a good renovation of interesting 18th century building; plenty of natural light; private entrance
kitchen poorly equipped and no microwave; washing machine supposedly didn't work; main road location; no hooks or hanging rails
It's location, not too far from the motorway. The price was reasonable The apartment was clean and everything functioned.
The location, too far to walk down the hill to the centre of Ripponden with no food available at the pub. The apartment felt 'cold' and devoid of a homely feel and character.
Although the accommodation was basic it was very clean.
On arrival had great difficulty finding someone to let you into the accommodation, Bed linen was supplied but no towels were provided and no warning was given of this fact. The owners attempted to charge more than the agreed price.
The welcome after a very long flight from Australia arriving at 10pm. The bed was really comfortable and we 4 great days there. Scenery around there is great, local supermarket at the bottom of the road. Enjoyed an evening in the small but cosy pub.
It was quite a walk into the village to the restaurants and cafés. Lots of car noise being on the roadside and no secondary glazing Lack of cooking pots, utensils and crockery given that cooking necessary because of location and no food served at the pub. Table to eat at would have been welcome. Extra hooks in bathroom, toilet roll holder and a shelf to put toiletries, toothbrush on etc would have been useful
It was a good location for the Tour de France (the cyclists went past the window). The car park is safe enough. In a quiet location, but close enough to restaurants, pubs and a co-op.
There was only one mirror in the whole apartment (which was in the bathroom), which was a pain.
spacious accommodation, very clean and well appointed. ability to leave up to mid-day very welcome
Lovely and clean
Lack of catering resources, no microwave, insufficient crockery and saucepans.
Made to feel very welcome on arrival. A self catering home from home with adjoining pub.
Soundproofing between floors is not great so if you have a noisy person above your room it would not be great.
Clean ans functional small apartment
Table was collapsing, easily fixed, so why not - I did it in 5 minutes. No tea/coffee.
only one towel
The freedom of being able to cater for ourselves and the fact that it was in the village where we had family. Could find no fault with bathroom and bedroom.
Could have provided a table & chairs to eat at. Very basic crockery and not enought cutlery. A sharp knife for cutting fruit, etc., and a bread knife would be helpful.
Good location for a wedding we were attending.Plenty parking. Comfortable accomodation. Nice pub.
Apartment above had laminate floor Very noisy at 3am. Sounded like Morris dancing elephants.
