Friendly greeting. Unbelievable service even after they only found out on my arrival that I was disabled.
Good location - 5 minute walk into town. Bus stop to Newport right outside which allows you to then connect with bus network all over the Island. Owners were friendly and breakfast was lovely. Good sized room - we had the triple plenty of space and own bathroom. Would recommend to stay again.
Super friendly couple who run this lovely bed and breakfast
I loved the text message asking out arrival time and subsequent text messages . Owners are very welcoming and warm and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with a great choice of organic and locally produced items. The bedroom was ok. The shared bathroom was aittle snug but very clean. Would definitly recommend and stay there again,
The decor was very tasteful, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were very friendly
Unfortunately the hotel is on a main road and you can hear the traffic if your windows are open
Fantastic breakfast and lovely staff!
Decor in bedroom
Smallest shared shower room on a half landing. TV in the bedroom did not work. No fresh fruit or yogurt with the breakfast.
Well appointed bright and airy room well equipped good sized bathroom very modern and clean Warm welcome Helpful information given about locality/places to eat Excellent breakfast
Wi Fi not available on 2nd floor
This is our 2nd time at the Caledon. It's a great location for Cowes which is our primary reason for choosing. However my favourite thing about this particular hotel is their breakfast, great choice and great local ingredients. We will certainly be back again when we come to visit the island next time.
There are few if any problems with this b&b. however, if I was to be particularly picky then this time we couldn't get a room with ensuite and no robes we're provided to wear to get between the our room and the bathroom which was a floor down. But really a minor point.
Not much to add, this is a very well run and appointed guest house within a very reasonable distance of the main parts of Cowes. Perhaps not quite so suitable for a person with walking difficulties. Overall very good!
We were welcomed with a warm friendly smile at the door on arrival and this continued throughout our stay which was delightful. The decor is perfect and to a high quality and standard. Thank you Mark and Andrea.
Very nice ambience and quality food
Sharing the shower and toilet, but I knew this was part of the fair price deal.
Excellent location,staff,comfort and breakfast
Everything was just great: - The location -easy 3 minute walk into Cowes The accommodation - exceptionally clean well maintained property The room - light and airy, warm, lovely decorated, comfortable bed, good en -suite with plenty of hot water, plenty of storage space. The breakfast - lovely dining room, lots of choice, well cooked, delicious. The Caledon is well run by a helpful friendly couple. We will return.
Great location for Cowes (west) just up the road from the town centre. Useful parking meant that we didn't use the car during our stay. Breakfast was lovely with wide choice and quality produce. Friendly owners who were not in the least intrusive.
There wasn't anything negative to say really!
Very friendly owners, breakfast was great, lovely house.
Nothing, supper place highly recommend it to anyone
Wonderful guesthouse, well located. Very nice and warm welcome. The rooms are clean, stylish and modern. Very good breakfast.
friendliness of staff, quality of accommodation, cleanliness and fabulous breakfast
loved it all
The decor the staff the food.
No en-suite but then even that wasn;t a problem as there was plenty of bathrooms that where clean and at no time did we have to wait for them.
great welcome, a comfortable stay in a good location
Absolutely loved the warm, welcoming atmostphere offered by Andrea & Mark, rooms were lovely and spacious, bathroom was perfect. The whole accomodation was everything you could want, breakfast was amazing too!
The only tiny thing i would have preferred is a bigger quilt on the bed as we kept waking up everytime one of us moved - but i'm sure its just us being messy sleepers and used to a bigger one at home
Location no parking
At breakfast the menu has a map on the back showing where all the ingredients come from on the island. The bed was super comfortable. We got a friendly text after we booked online to coordinate our arrival time - which we then messed up - and we were then allowed a late check in. Very friendly, informal and comfy.
very clean and lovely room. Breakfast was really delicious. Would definitely stay again.
