Score from 30 reviews Very good
Room was nothing special but had all the things that more expensive hotel don't have or charge for like an iron & ironing board A good size work top to bags etc on over all it did what it said on the tin
Food wasn't that great but wasn't expensive either. The rooms & corridors could do with an upgrading
Location in town centre
Banging of doors at midnight!! Excessive cost for breakfast, which I did not partake of!
Comfort and quietness
Excellent food and the quality of the staff. Comfortable beds and clean linen each day. Parking next to the hotel and east access to the shops and seafront.
Lightbulbs in bedroom and toilet too low wattage. Only one easy chair in the bedroom. Extractor fan in toilet too loud and the toilet cistern dId not always flush.
Bed comfortable, room clean staff very good very fair in dealing with the problems we had
Wi-Fi very poor food variable
The toilet extractor fan was noisy
the location, food was ok also.
the staff were abrupt and rude. hotel very unclean and fifthy bathroom.
We asked for a room on the first floor as my husband has a problem with his knee and they did everything to accommodate us. The breakfast was excellent, and we also ate there a few times in the evening, again excellent. We asked for somewhere to store our bicycles so they were secure and they provided us with a place to do that. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I wish they had lift, even though the stairs were not too steep, it would have been easier for us if there was a lift.
Easy to get to central to where we wanted to be nice bar
Food could have been better but that could have been to us being late in the resurant
Two rump steaks and a bottle of red for £20 - bargain. Excellent breakfasts too.
Take a leaf out of Weatherspoons MO and have Abbotts, Speckled Hen or Duchars to drink, then the place would be perfect!!!
Friendly staff ,good food and ina quiet area
Everything from arrival to departure staff couldn't do enough location brilliant out of one door into high street cross the road beach and bus station behind lovely breakfast staff ask what you want and it's all freshly cooked for you
food ie breakfast, and evening meal
nobody on reception, had to look for staff.
The food was good and value for money. The food at breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a good location for the shops and shore with ample free parking. The staff are very friendly and very hard working as there is not enough of them.
The smell of old nicotine in the bedroom and stairway. Lack of lift. The hotel is very tired and in dire need of a complete makeover. It is also very understaffed. Although the staff they have are very hardworking and pleasant. Just do not expect to be served quick at the bar.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Hotel and bar area throughout our stay was very busy but the service we received from staff was excellent at all times.
Very good bar and restaurant, and rooms facilities. A good location for visiting Fife area.
No lift. Thin walls between bedrooms.
All of the staff seemed to go that little bit further no matter how small the request. As our first stop in Scotland I felt proud to be asked by the Romanian couple who accompanied myself and my wife, if all of Scotland was as warm and friendly.Your staff are a credit to you.
Pleasant little town but could benefit from a late shop for those things you forget.
Clean & friendly staff Food ok and good breakfast
WiFi - was not easy to locate - in fact we gave up in the end.
It was poor from the start, staff friendly but standards poor. Rooms were ok bed was damp I think as the sheets smelled of damp. We asked for two pints and they were that bad we just left them after a few sips. Won't be back!!!
Staff were very friendly and helpful, good value for money, very clean and I would stay again.
I could connect to cloud but did not have any internet access to speak of and as there was no 3G in the area i did struggle to access email etc. With running my own business i like to access email even tho i am having a few days off so it did cause a slight issue.
location,price,breakfast,parking was adequate
no elevator since it was a hotel the soap hanging on wall was inconvenient
