the breakfast was ace the staff was great the beds are comfy the bar stayed open till we went to bed
the bathroom was to small
I liked the room it was comfortable, also liked breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
Well on the breakfast menu it said help your self to fresh fruit, and the two days that we stayed there, there was no fruit what so ever. Why would they advertised on the menu if they was not going to put any fruit out. Could add more options on food for breakfast.
Good value. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Clean
The bed was a bit uncomfortable
The Hotel was clean, in a good location and friendly staff also a great breakfast with plenty of choice. We would stay again.
didnt clean the room evry day and changing towels etc
The location was fantastic and the breakfast was very good , the hotel is very good value for money .
I have to say the bed room was very cold and the bathroom needs to be updated .
Location . The room we had is comfortable clean and has everything you need! Breakfast was superb and plenty of it ! Very friendly waiter and owner ! 2nd year there and back again next year
Breakfast and location.
Spent 4 nights here. Room was never seen to by staff and we had to ask for towels etc.
Central location, breakfast was good.
Rooms small , poor standard. We were disturbed during the night by people coming in.
The room was small but clean, well decorated and comfortable. The location was good (close to attractions). Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
Bed - too soft and too low Facilities - merely adequite, shower poor, room not cleaned one night of our stay but fresh towels and free tea and coffee sachets supplied when requested. But you get what you pay for.
The food was less than adequate & the only nice feature was the wife of the owner who although heavily pregnant was doing most of the work.
The cramped stuffy rooms were not suitable for my family with two small children. My baby daughter had to wait until 8:30pm for her travel cot to be dumped upstairs & we were left to set it up ourselves. The milk coffee's & teas were never replaced after day 1, we had to chase the hotel owner & his wife for towels, bed sheets to be replaced, There were lumps in my son's bed, the shower/toilet was the most cramped facility I've ever used. Noise was heard from the walls during the Night. Will definitely stick to Ibis style's excellent hotels in the future.
Lovely welcoming staff. Excellent location and value for money. Rooms adequate for stay and thoroughly clean. You can't ask for much more.
friendly atmosphere very comfortable.
Was not clean bed not comfy TV very close to walking past
The full English breakfast meant full English breakfast and the additional toast made it even more satisfying. The tea/coffee tray in the room was replenished every day +++++ Host were friendly and went the extra mile. I recommend this hotel and will go back for future stays.
Downside I was on the 3rd floor and 3 flights of stair but hey oh I need the exercise, this won't put me off booking a stay again
It's easyer to say what I didn't like..and can't think of anything..I would totally recommend the Carlton to everybody ..Great location.. Great hosts and a great room ...everything was so nice..can't wait to go again...recommended ....
nothing full stop .....
staff were very polite and friendly rooms were small but clean The location was excellent
Recieved a warm welcoming, it was minutes away from blackpool tower and all shops. Freindly. Fantastic breakfast!
Food very good beds very comfortable
Hearing people coming home early hours of the morning trying to get in wrong rooms
I liked the location very much, the hotel room was clean.
Freezing room.Heating only on a couple of hours a day.Not good for December.
Cost and cleanliness of rooms plus radiators kept the place warm. Excellent location and owners were very helpful and friendly.
Didn't make up beds or change towels daily but think they would have if we asked. The tv did not work in the room.
Before arriving in Blackpool Stuart called me on my mobile giving me very accurate directions from the bus station to the hotel ,giving piece of mind. The welcome and show around the hotel were excellent, inc: a few tips for places to visit. The breakfast I had every morning was wonderful, that set me up for the day. From there, people, publicans, fish and chips, attractions, the tower made my stay very memorable, and after speaking to Stewart, I will be visiting in January, this time for longer. Many thanks to everyone who made my stay magnificent. I give it all a rating of 11out of 10. Thanks again John Brennan.
There was not one thing I didn't like, even the wind and the rain ,while walking on the pier had a kind of holiday brilliance to it.
