Score from 14 reviews Good
The suite was huge and CHEAP, masses of space fast internet and great bathroom and superb wardrobes. The bed was massive and comfy. The food in the Carvery was great and good value.
The TV in the room is a bit quirky and the freeview obviously have not been updated. Pay per view movies would have been a nice touch. Tend to be continous nouse from delivery lorries for long periods in the morning.
The hotel was far to hot everywhere
Hotel was lovely & very modern. Wheelchair accessible. Good standard Disabled bathroom. Logan's bar & restaurant, very good meals & reasonably priced. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive. Rooms cleaned daily. Hotel sits between Prestwick and Ayr. Happy to recommend & would use again.
Wifi was a bit hit & miss. Check the bed situation. We had requested double & single beds in a family room but it was just one big double bed for 3 of us.
Faultless all round.
Excellent Breakfast. Reception staff very helpful.
Very busy with a wedding party.
Room, shower, free wifi, food and good beer!!
Room was very modern and warm, the food was good and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Poached egg was overcooked and quite slow to clear the tables.
Headboard panel missing bulb out on lamps grouting / silicone at bath black and cracked. Fire protection strip at front door loose
Food was fantastic in the Carvery.
Extra pillows would have been good.
Large bedroom. Good food. Friendly staff. Good public transport.
No privacy from windows on ground floor.
I liked the bathroom as it was very spacious and well presented, also the complimentary hot chocolate was a pleasent jesture.
The food at breakfast was poorly cooked and did not meet my expectations. Some of the lights in the room did not work as the switches were missing, the wifi connection was very poor from the room as well.
The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable we had a great sleep after a late night flight back to prestwick
Not enough milk in the room and the shower was cold in the morning but we were in a hurry to get home so it wasn't a big deal
Staff and facilities were excellent, food great! .
location - near to where I needed to be. Food is rather good
Ive stayed here on numerous occasions but this time was unlucky with the standard of the room room 208. Bedside lights cobbled together with tape, wallpaper peeling off walls, tea/coffee stains all down one wall, generally shabby and looked like it hadn't been hoovered. Old room service menu in room. I've stayed in better rooms in the past here. Noise like a generator outside my window despite requesting a quiet room when i booked made having the window open for air impossible
Staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodation very clean
One minor gripe and it is minor had to ask for tea and coffee on the second morning at breakfast
we enjoyed the lovely cooked breakfast and the evening dinner in logans restaurant .great selection and very good prices.
Good location, large room and good breakfast
The whole ambience of the building was great. The dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. Would stay again.
Price is a bit steep for this type of hotel. No view
Phoned night before to request early check in which was accommodated with no fuss. On arrival the gentleman on reception was very pleasant and arranged a taxi to the race course for us. We ate in Logans which was very fairly priced and lovely food & the service was second to none . The room was clean , I have to say that the staff of the hotel & Logans are amongst the most helpful and most pleasant I have came across ever. Nothing was too much trouble for them I cannot commend them enough, I hope the hotel are very proud of them . Definitely going back in fact booking for next years race meet . Highly recommend
Comfort, food, location close to airport, staff friendliness
Room was way too hot overnight
Lovely clean room, great breakfast and supper. No complaints what so ever.
Very good rate, modern. Plenty of free parking. Carvery was very good, although service was hit and miss (dirty mains plates left on our table throughout desert).
Could do with a really good clean, a lot of dusty (i.e old) cobwebs in the room and bathroom (ceilings and upper walls). Bathroom was a bit grubby - mould in between tiles etc, hairs in bath. One of the little shampoo bottles was actually half used and had been placed back in the rack... Poor quality cooked breakfast ingredients. Tv had to be re-programmed every time I turned it on. Thin walls, could hear tv and the people in next door room quite clearly.
Bed was very comfortable Shower was efficient Room was clean
The bar facility was too male orientated and was dark and unwelcoming. No receptionist available when I arrived at a reasonable time.
Great rooms plenty of space, good decor. Breakfast cooked to order and very good selection of both hot and cold food. Evening meal also very good, nice carvery and also a choice from menu. Good decor throughout and outside seating for warmer weather. Plenty of parking.
Slight noise from extractor fan.
The rooms were clean. Ours wasn't ready when we got there so we waited for about 20 minutes until the ladies it. No problem with that
There were two issues......the internet in our room was so weak that we had to go to the lobby for internet. The buffet which is called the carver there is not really a carver in that you can have all you want vegetables but not meat. The server was not very friendly and told us she would have the chef come out and cut our meat for us when we were ready. We did that and we got our first portion. My husband went to the buffet to get more meat was about to ask the chef but the server told him he couldn't have any more! There were other people there getting food and he was very embarrassed!! What kind of buffet has limits on what you can and cannot eat. She must have realized what she had done because she came to our table to explain to him the procedure. We are not stupid or cheap but a buffet is a buffet. Also we have never been to a buffet whereby guests had to use the same plate to get more food. Usually there is a sign saying not to reuse your plate for sanitary reasons........the spoons are touching plates that others eat from. The plates were by the chef so you cannot get a clean one. We have done a lot of travelling and when you get a server or service that makes you feel belittled it leaves a lasting impression.
