Location and Spa Facilities (particularly no kids after 7pm) A lot of noise from adjoining rooms and corridor - walls & floors seem paper thin! |

The location was superb and our room, as requested, had a lovely view across the bay and was spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the extensive grounds. The food and restaurant service were very good and the staff friendly and helpful. In a very good position for walks, the Lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden project. |

I only stayed one night. I chose the hotel because that night was a 'special offer', otherwise I would not have wanted to pay the normal price. I enjoyed the spa and swimming pool. The room was a single room, but a little small. |

I booked this hotel I booked it because when I called some weeks ago the person who picked up the phone was extremely polite and cortegous. When I went to check in the day I arrived the woman who was at reception had got up from the wrong side of the bed. In my opinion they should not work in any job leave alone the hotl industry. |

The hotel was not a relaxing experience, the rooms are noisy, children running wild ialong the landing corridors and in the plush lounge area removing the ability to relax and lounge!. Llocation of the hotel was poor and required driving On arrival they suggested we would have to move rooms during our stay, why? I never got to know but it tarred our stay fron the 1st minute. The room was warm and the windows could not be opened due to the rowdiness on the terrace. extortionatly over priced in comparison to the standard I am used to, Ie Marriots. We paid the £178/night B&B confident that we would be in a relaxing Spa environment on the cliff tops, however it turned out to be most uncomfortable experience with no relaxation |

A very good quality hotel that was still comfortable, friendly and relaxing. Great facilities. Informal dining in the lounge was difficult as all the tables were coffee table height and you had to eat off your lap - difficult for children. |

While on a short weekend break I decided to book this hotel rather than others in the area due to the stunning views from the cliff top but also the relaxing Spa that is directly attached to the Hotel. Had a very nice massge. Didn't have dinner in the hotel but the in room breakfast was lovey and very filling. |

The food at breakfast and golf facilities and peace and quite Yes - crampped breakfast seating - particularly by the door to the kitchen area - very tightly packed and all guests had to apologise all the time when getting up and sitting down! |

We were very lucky to get a fantastic room, although a little cramped for a double, with a private balcony looking out onto St Austell Bay. The decore of the hotel would not be to everyones taste but it was clean and well looked after. The facilities offered were very good and with its position on the coast you could quite happily stay within the hotel for the duration of your stay and be reluctant to venture out to see Cornwall. Everthing you could possibly want for was provided within the room and staff in dining room and housekeeping areas were very friendly and helpful. We only had our fantastic room for part of our stay and were not informed initially that we would have to move rooms. Evening meal in the restaurant was very expensive although the hotel did provide an option of a lighter menu in the bar at a more reasonable cost but service was only to 7pm. |

The hotel facilities were excellent. The presentation and atmosphere were good. The staff were helpful and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. One little criticism which is really personal choice, I prefer a duvet not blankets on the bed! |

I chose the hotel because of its impressive location and because it was near the Eden Project. Both hotel and Eden exceeded our expectations! The hotel however made our mini family holiday, providing activities for us all, a confortable and friendly atmosphere plus fantastic food. |

We liked the comfort and general ambience of the hotel; and the excellent attention we received from all the staff. Our first night was marred by the noise from a golfing group in the bar immediately below our room but on complaining to the hotel we were immediately moved to a much quieter room and we were able to enjoy our next three nights stay. |

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful two days and didn't want to leave. The only slight let-down with the hotel is I don't think the food is 4*. We had nice food but it was far from exceptional. |

Flower arrangements, maitre d' (he was perfect), super clean room, indoor pool area, wine list and lots of comfy sofas, the waiting staff excellent. Old-fashioned charm. Bed a bit short for 6'+. |

Key moments with your staff were excellent. Especially your concierge who brought my luggage to my car to discover some one had clipped my front bumper. He duly got some "brasso" & proceeded to buff the grazed bumper to perfection. No amount of staff training or motivational payments could better that kindness to a stranger. Our room was not available until the alotted time of 3.00pm. Whilst this was the published time the other two hotels I stayed at in the previuos 2 days were ready much earlier......really spoilt us I suppose. The car park got filled up with guest's attending a golden anniversary banquet & consequently I had to park out on the road! |

The spa facilities were excellent and can be recommended to anyone. They are some of the best at any hotel we've stayed at. Using the restaurant was expensive and had a dress code that was unnecessary. From their warnings it also seemed that Norovirus was around. |
