I liked the food. We had a superior room which was nice and spacious. Good bathroom. We were unfortunate that a party of ten men had booked in for dinner and our table for our romantic dinner for two was next to them. We turned this table down as the group was extremely noisy. Unfortunately there was no other table so we had to have our meal in the bar. That said, the hotel owner was very apologetic and let us choose a bottle of wine on the house. I thought he handled the situation very well. |

The room was clean, airy and spacious. Furnished tastefully. Lovely bathroom. Tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished each day. Comfortable bed. Nice dab radio and lcd tv. The Wi-Fi internet connection was not good (poor signal) so not really good if you intend using your laptop during your stay. In fact the mobile signal wasn't too good either. |

The room was very comfortable, the power shower was a real treat. The restaurant offered a varied selection. Breakfast offered variety and could accomodate most tastes. |

Good sized room. Very comfortable bed. Room very well insulated from noise from public areas below. Lovely window view into garden area at back of hotel. Continental breakfast not included. "Full English breakfast" was the only offer - had to ask if just a "toast & coffee" breakfast was possible. |

Good atmosphere. Good food. Accommodating. Good location being slightly off the beaten track but easy to find. It's a pub so not possible to have an early night. The room (5) was warmer than we would have liked. |

The room was freshly decorated and the quality of dinner and breakfast was very good. I was disturbed during the night by a lot of noise coming from outside as people left the bar, by the noise of people passing along the corridor in the early hours of the morning, traffic noise and the squeaky floorboards from the floor above. The sound insulation in the rooms is very poor indeed. Some of the staff lacked customer service skills. |

Room was comfortable and food was very good. Excellent shower & v comfortable bed V minor point but would be good to have clothes hook and shelf for toiletries in bathroom - everthing else was fitted out v well. Woken at 7am with beer barrels (I think) being moved around outside - it's a popular pub so I guess you have to expect this from time to time |

Very nice accommodation with modern appliances and clean lines ( we are antique people so a little different for us) We ate and used the bar facilities and they were both excellent. Staff very helpful. We were in room 4 across from the fire door and it was very noisy with people letting the door bang both early in the morning and later at night. This was very disturbing and I would request a different room if we stayed again. The bar was noisy on Friday night. |

Evening meal very good. Rooms very tastefully decorated and spacious. Next to a busy lane with no double glazing led to a lot of road noise. Also lack of sound insulation within the building - a lot of noise from power shower pumps in other rooms, people on the landing, etc. |

When checking in, you are in the Pub which is rare, but once in the room and for the dinner in the restaurant, you will enjoy every minut of it. Very good restaurant and a super cooked breakfast. The staff is a bit young but dedicated. |

Room was contemporary and airy. Bathroom spacious and modern. Power shower excellent. Food is quite expensive - I'd like to have seen more 'light' dishes |

We were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was relaxed. Despite it being a busy pub, it was not noisy when up in the rooms. |

The rooms were modern well equiped and very comfortable. Eat in the restaurant the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Check before to make sure that your booking has been entered as we had only been booked in for one night and had booked for two, we had to move rooms after the first night. The staff were not very helpful or apologetic when we booked in, and had a problem trying to book a table for that evening, the restaurant was not full! Some of the young staff could do with some customer care training and maybe a dress code. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again Your advert stated "non-smoking" rooms available. In fact, the hotel is totally non-smoking and, as a smoker, I was disappointed in your advert. |
