Good freindly atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and were always nearby should they be required. The menu in the bar was typical "Pub Style" food, not too many healthy options |

Not muh, the rooms are poorly furnished and in much need of renovation. The beds very soft and spongy, the T.v is around 30yrs old and very small, the remote did not work. Very little hot water in the evening, non at all in the morning (no water of any type out of the hot water tap) The advertized free wifi was not available in the rooms and could only be accessed in the dinning room which smelt EWverything, the staff were uninformed, and doubled up as receptionists, waiters, bar staff and still didn't have any idea of customer service. The were somewhat unkempt. |

Bed very comfortable, exceptional breakfast - don't often get bloomer bread to make your toast - staff very friendly. We enjoyed coming back to the hotel in the evenings and stopping off in the bar for a night-cap Only thing that let this hotel down was the bath slip mat. It was torn and a dirty brown colour - get rid of this and hotel is super. |

Personal service - had arranged us a ground floor room, so we could store our bikes. Also arranged takeaway meal in the evening when the chef hurt himself. Felt appreciated & got attention despite the staff preparing for a large wedding the following day. |

One member of staff who was very friendly and welcoming This hotel was run down, scruffy and dirty. The door from the car park to the rooms was broken so I felt unsafe. The sheets were not clean, there was urine on the toilet seat, there were black floating bits coming through the taps with the water, there was a rusty shipping container and broken old furniture dumped directly outside the room window. Checked out & found another hotel for 2nd night. |
