The room was lovely and comfortable The lock on our door got stuck and my husband and I could not get out of our room! Also after paying we were informed that a dj would be playing in the bar underneath the rooms until 3am.. we got no sleep at all! Be sure to read the very small print at the bottom of your booking page! Glasses required! |

The staff member I spoke to on my arrival was extremely helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and it was a convenient location for my needs that evening. The room was clean and modern, and the bathroom facilities although shared were fantastic - also very clean. The only thing I would improve would be double glazing windows, the room was cold and in the morning all the noise from the busy street outside filtered through. |

I didn't - it had no bathroom, loo or water facilities, bedside lamp, and as such was far too expensive for the service offered there was a disco which played loud music until 4 am, no bathroom, no loo, no washbasin, no bedside lamp |

Great location The hotel has a shared bath and shower structure, but we were not made aware of that before arrival. We would have not stayed here had we known that. |

I am 22 years old and this hotel was situated next to great pubs and clubs. Highly recommended for people like staying out late. Not recommended for people that want to go to bed early due to Dj nights at the hotel. |

The fact that the location was close to our venue. Room was clean and well decorated Lack of en suite facilities. Unusual set up for breakfast. It would be better if there was a proper breakfast area which had been set up with crockery. |

The situation. We had problems with the B&B because we asked them if they could prepare the breakfast for us for the next day because we had had to leave before the breakfast time as we had to take our flight back to Barcelona. The breakfast they finally prepare, which was already paid (as well as the total booking as we had to pay it in advance, I mean, as soon as we arrive to the B&B, not the day we left it), was just a sandwich and anything else!! What happens with the drink? We had had to buy it in the airport. There were only 2 baths for all the rooms, which was a completely surprise for us! We had been before in other B&B, cheaper than the Castle B&B, and all the rooms had their own bath. We get angry because that’s something we would have known in advance. The free WIFI that seem they had didn’t work. We tried it inside our room and there wasn’t signal enough. Then we tried it in the bar (with signal enough in that case) but it definitely didn’t work and the waiters didn’t know which was the reason. To finish we have to say that the quality-price relation was really bad so I won’t recommend the Castle B&B to anyone! |

The room was clean. Towels big and fluffy Did not realise there were shared bathrooms and for £75 pounds this surprised me. Breakfast not until 8.30 so as we had an early start we had to miss. Not offered alternative or price reduction. The 'hotel' transformed itself into a night club at 8pm. Until 5am it shook with the 'music' The ill fitting window allowed us to hear the full sounds of the customers outside, breaking glasses, fighting, police and ambulance. The receptionist come bar maid, ice cream seller and dance floor organiser was rude and unconcerned about us and our booking. |

The rooms are quite nicely furnished. Breakfast was ok. The noise. It's unbearable! Do not stay here if you want to sleep before 3am. The noise from the bar below will not allow you to sleep until the bar is shut. Then at 6am you get the noise from the traffic outside, it is located on a main road and the windows do not block out the traffic noise. I needed a day to get over my 'break'. |

Nice room with character and decent facilities. Slight negative point is the shared bathrooms were not ideal, but were clean and well maintained. |

The breakfast was good and the coffee was very good. The decor of the room was attractive. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, no lift, no help offered with bags. The reception was unfriendly throughout our stay. It was hot and there was no fan, no a.c. It was very very noisy at all hours of the night. The bath was two flights down. |

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Loud music in the bar downstairs on Saturday night/Sunday morning, and loud glass-collection on the street at 5am on Sunday morning. |

The location to the centre of town and the breakfast was great! The beds were to soft for my liking and a few en-suite rooms would be a good idea. |

Comfortable and relaxing, in the city centre, staff were friendly. Breakfasts were not as good as I would have liked, cold or missing things like croissants. |

We enjoyed the fact that the B&B was directly in the centre of town, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to be. |

The rooms and all facilities were clean and tidy, the staff were very cooperative. In particular they did warn us about the noise from the music bar, and offered us the chance to cancel at no cost, but we decided to give it a whirl! . The ground floor is a music pub with loud music till 2 or may be 3 a.m. and even though you are expecting it, it is still rather loud and distracting. If you can sleep through it, then you will be fine. you even get used to the night time trek to the separate loo! |

The hotel is a small clean basic budget priced hotel conveniently situated for visiting my daughter at the university. The Eastern European staff are friendly and accommodating and make the best of the limited facilities. On this occasion their visa machine was inoperable and we were required to pay by cheque or cash, which was inconvenient. There is no parking and access via a complicated one way system to drop off bags via a well used loading bay is a bit hit and miss. |

The staff were very pleasant and the location was good The noise from the pub at night was really really loud - I have stayed in a hotel where they had earplugs in the rooms and I think it would be a good idea here. Breakfast was noisy too because they were running a wet dry vacuum cleaner over the stone floor - not nice after broken sleep. |
