In the heart of Taunton, 2 miles (3.2 km) from the M5 motorway, this 4-star hotel has been welcoming travellers since the 12th century.
Run by the Chapman family for 60 years, the Castle Hotel has won many awards, from a 'Michelin Star', to Tatler's 'Best Out Of Town Restaurant' award (2002). It also has a '4-Star Gold Award' from VisitBritain.
Each room is designed by the director, Louise Chapman. All have standard facilities, as well as LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi internet access. Limited 24-hour room service is available.
