Everything. Couldnt fault our stay

Carefully restored.

Noise from adjoining room (came through locked adjoining door). Lack of staff in bar after 9.45pm. Booked double room and got two single beds

Rooms very spotless and reception very helpful.bar area good and excellent position for centre of town.Also has modern Bistro attached

Noisey at night with wedding reception guests sat outside room making a lot of noise until late in the evening.Would ensure requested room far away from function room when staying again

The staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and inviting.

Brazz restaurant excellent for Sunday evening meal. The bedroom was very comfortable

Having to pay £5 per night carparking. This could be very expensive if stopping longer than one night. Also feel the cost for breakfast a little steep too at £15.95.

Heating comes on at night which was unexpected had to get up in the early hrs to open windows and turn off rads

The sheer comfort and luxury of the hotel and its facilities. I loved the history and the look of the Castle. The staff were so helpful and courteous. Very central and therefore easy to get out and walk around town.

£5 to park, expensive breakfast

Most aspects were fine, nothing in particular although the stand out was of course the architecture both inside and out and it's location.

The quality of the breakfast was fine but the cost at £15.50 was exhorbitant compared to other establishments. The attached restaurant ( Brazz ) was a huge let down. This fact alone would almost certainly prevent me from returning to the Castle as I like to eat where I stay.

Friendly helpful staff and the hotel was very clean

The bathroom radiator wasn't on when we arrived so the internal bathroom was cold and there was no extractor fan. We reported this to reception and it was turned on/ fixed immediately only to be off again when we returned from our evening meal and it remained off/ broken so in the morning the bathroom was very cold again.

Excellent, convenient location. Comfortable room.

Exceptionally high costs - £16 for two drinks at the bar. £15 per head for breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious cocktails, and a generously late check-out time.

Better quality bath/shower products would be a good addition and also robes in all the bedrooms. For a standard roomat £130 a night, one would expect these two luxuries.

It's relaxed and offers a very high level of customer service

The whole stay was just about perfect

The ambience and beauty of the building. Friendly staff. We had the pleasure of being upgraded to the Brendon Room. This made our stay at the Castle more than memorable! we were upgraded to a superior room, and for the stanard rate we paid, this was extremely good value for money.

there is a distinct lack of a "proper"residents lounge in such a highly rated and expensive hotel.
