Cwmbach Cottages are one of the quietest places to stay, nestled on a hill side over looking Neath and is surrounded by mature woodland just half a mile above the village of Cadoxton.

A small, friendly hotel just outside Llanelli town centre, the Thomas Arms is a 5-minute drive from shops at Parc Trostre and the Scarlets Rugby stadium.
Score from 147 reviews Very good
Set on the outskirts of Llanelli, the largest town in Carmarthenshire, this beautifully furnished Victorian house provides an ideal base from which to explore the sights of South Wales.

The Mirador is a truly unique guest house with cosmopolitan décor, each room portraying themes such as Roman, Egyptian or Oriental. Central Swansea can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.

The noise from the pub downstairs until 230am
Full range of facilities in room including cooker, microwave etc.
Room wasn't very clean. No tea/coffee etc. Seems pricey compared to other places nearby.
Noisy fight outside at three am bathroom dusty , toilet noisy n difficult t achieve a good flush , no pans only pan lids, grill pan and sink dirty from previous guests but grill or oven didn't work, no toaster, drawers wobbly n broken. Noisy from live entertainment that high the floor vibrated. So not very good.
The room was reasonably priced, large and mostly clean with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Lovely walks just opposite the pub which is ideal for people (like us) travelling with a dog.
We stayed on a Friday & Saturday night and it was very noisy until about 1.30am with people hanging around outside the pub and shouting out on the street. The room was very stuffy but we were unable to open the window because of all the noise outside.
Nice that it had a kitchen. It's cheap.
Was told that music would stop at 11:00pm on the phone but it went on till at least 1:00am, it is very loud as room is right above the pub/club. Stank of smoke, even with the window open.
Layout, decoration, location.
A bit noisy but to be expected.
The cleanliness was lacking. Cooking facilities offered on web site were not present.
This was a perfect location for us, we were made to feel very welcome by staff, the landlord and friendly locals. The self contained apartment was clean, spacious & great value for money. It suited us perfect with 11 month old twins, having facilities in the room to cater for their needs.
Obviously staying above a pub there was a fair bit of noise but it actually didn't disturb us or our baby twins. All was quiet by 11pm & this is reflected in the price.
Room was clean.
Very very noisy, this is not a family friendly place at all. Bar downstairs thumping out loud music till late and full of loud drunk people. Unless you are out partying till the wee hours then dont even consider staying here. No breakfast (even though sign say B&B!). One battery in TV remote.
Located where I needed it
No tea or coffee supplied for short stay
