Friendly hosts Excellent accommodation Delicious breakfast
Room was large, clean and well decorated. The bathroom was modern. The owner was friendly and the breakfast was superb (full English served in our room) Right next door to the crown bistro pub, excellent food and service.
Couldn't find faults
The breakfast was great will good choice. The room was large with modern stylish interior. The bed was like ours which was great.
There was a bit of train noise in the morning, and it was a bit further from Bath than expected for a BA1 postal code. £12 taxi each way.
Stayed at the cedars last weekend and it was amazing. The staff made you feel welcome and so friendly and really look after you.
Lovely bed and breakfast and would recommend to friends and family.
Fridge in the room, table in the room, nice shower. good breakfast.
Nice room and bathroom, excellent breakfast.
Unique idea - breakfast served in your room. No shortage of fresh fruits and nuts yoghurts etc... but the full english was a 10/10 for me, and I rarely give 10/10!
Best if you have a car, but still OK because of bus out in front. A little farther from town than other reviews make it seem. Depends on traffic. Is very quiet and peaceful for sure!
Outside area could be improved.
New and spacious accommodation. Great staff.
Very noisy road and close to a rail line.
Easy access to Bath by bus right outside the property. Very clean huge room and amazing breakfast. Comfortable bed!
Everything was good. Could not find fault with anything.
The bed was big and comfortable. The host was welcoming and helpful. The room was large, clean and very inviting. Close by was a great little pub, great choice after a long day. And breakfast was sensational. We wish we had time to stay another night. We would recommend this place to everyone. Great value for money. Only a few miles out of Bath and easy to find. Go try it out.
Nothing! except that we didn't have more time to stay longer.
The Cedars is well located in a village - just a 15 minute bus ride away from the City Centre. Leave the car in the available off-road area and take the bus - parking is a nightmare in Bath. Room was exceptionally well appointed, spotless, spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the facility for breakfast in your room (buffet items provided outside the room, cooked items a phone call away). Host and hostess very helpful and courteous and prepared to 'go the extra mile'. They also recommended local pubs and 'eateries' which were good value for money. Will definitely book again when we're next in the Bath area.
Absolutely excellent breakfast, brilliant wetroom, great location and very convenient for Bath. Host was very friendly.
Don't like to give any negatives - but we were slightly disappointed to find breakfast was in our room and therefore did not experience the usual chat with the hosts and other guests - hence missed the traditional B&B atmosphere. Lack of a dressing table and mirrors in the bedroom for doing hair / make-up.
The Cedars very much deserves 10 out of 10 in all areas. Would not hesitate to stay again.
There truly is nothing to dislike
The hosts Damian and Gilly were lovely and willing to help you out with anything you need. We didn't manage to wake up for breakfast but everything else was spot on. We would highly recommend staying here.
This is a stylish comfortable b&b where your accomodation is modern but still welcoming. Gilly and Damien are excellent hosts and the breakfasts are very tasty. Its outside of bath so quieter and a good base for exploring the South of England. We will be going back !
Beautifully laid out room with table and chairs and lovely bathroom. Outdoor eating area was nice too. Although we didn't use it the owner pointed out there was a bus stop right outside the B&B that took you directly into Bath, which can be tricky for parking so this would be excellent on busier days. The breakfast was freshly prepared and you certainly don't need lunch afterwards!
If I had to make one small comment it would be for larger towels. Not really an issue though!
Everything was great. Even the bathroom is amazingly new and modern. (Not so evidently expected from a semi-rural setting). Wi-fi is much faster than the regular hotels.
You just need to make sure that you remember the limited check-in time. and the best is to come by car
Location was good, 10 mins easy drive away from Bath. Room was spacious, clean and practical. Had plenty of choices for breakfast, the full english set us up for the day. The hosts were lovely and even left us a bottle of wine in our room when we mentioned in conversation it was our wedding anniversary.
the room was very warm but we were provided with a fan.
I cannot add much to Lee of Kenthurst. We faced a 5 hour drive the next day and explained that we would forego breakfast The host would have nothing of that and supplied all the ingredients, cereal milk ,tea, coffee, bread, condiments etc for a truly hearty start .
The owners where friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was huge, furnished great Lovely modern bathroom with a powerful shower So much choice for breakfast and at great quality Good upto date Selection of DVD's to choose from - great touch! Can grab the bus just outside the door directly into Bath, no need to pay or worry about parking
Everything was great, the only slight niggle was the WIFI, it was really really slow.
Modern, clean large room, lovely shower, lovely facilities, large bed, small fridge, large selection of DVD to watch ,location great for Bath.free on site parking, Bus stop right outside. Every fifteen minutes. Pub next door fabulous for food, great pub. Damien and Gilly lovely couple.
Damien and Gilly have thought of everything to make your stay at the Cedars a most comfortable and memorable experience. The rooms are private, stylishly appointed and scrupulously clean. The bed and the sofa bed are comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep. The room is equipped with a bar fridge and guests are provided fresh milk for tea and coffee. It really is touches like this that make all the difference to your stay. A thoughtfully provided folder which includes details of the bus timetable into the centre of town makes it easy to enjoy sight seeing and dining in Bath without the worry of parking. A plentiful continental breakfast is provided, with Gilly and Damien coking hot breakfasts to order (if you can fit it in!) They are excellent hosts- welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. I would most definitely recommend the Cedars to anyone planning a trip to Bath
