Superb staff, bar area very well kept, clean & reasonably priced, a happy stay
Breakfasts were fantastic, fresh and all waiter served.
signage inside the hotel poor. We wrongly went with heavy suitcases through access stairs. Signage needed in particular along corridor before the pool.
One member of staff was rude and inconsiderate to a disabled guest with a guide dog. The situation could have been handled with more diplomacy privacy and tact.
Location, helpfull reception staff nothing too much trouble
The room and bathroom were excellent and the room service. Breakfast and service were very good
I couldn't get internet but that might be me. The one little thing that got to me was the shower sachets.. They were near impossible to pull open.
The staff here were very helpful. We stayed for bed & breakfast & at breakfast the staff were very reliable, friendly & helpful. Such a fast & efficient service. Myself, partner & children, all enjoyed our stay here :-)
Staff. Sea view
Rooms in need of updating decor.
Few occasions I dealt with staff they were very nice waiter in particular helpful
Outdated decor in the rooms and hallways a high step in the family room not suitable for young children poor maintenance in the pool area cork flooring has come away in places the window in the room very dirty
the location was good and the closeness to the shopping area was good. the buccatti bar served excellent bar meals which we used as the set dinner time was too late for my husband who has health problems.
the room definitely needed updating as the paper seemed to be coming away from the wall in places and felt damp, otherwise we enjoyed our stay
We were pleased with the facilities and the clean and comfortable room. The staff were very pleasant too. We did not use the pool and gym as the weather was so good, but these are an added bonus. We went on the bed and breakfast option and found the breakfast good and the service very efficient. The hotel is being refurbished and the lounge is now complete and very clean, attractive and comfortable. We really liked the location, close to the beach and convenient for walking into St Anne's or catching a bus to Lytham or Blackpool. We do plan to go again!
On the one occasion that we ate in the Bugatti bar we found the food disappointing The two tiny 'Lotus' biscuits provided each day with the tea and coffee in the rooms is both boring and lacking compared to other hotels we have visited. The shampoo and body wash sachets were not replaced after we had used them on the first day of out stay.
pool , sauna and steam room, breakfast good room good and could even see the sea even though window on side
lots of stairs , kettle not very good plug not a good fit .
At nearly £100 a night for B&B this place is overpriced by about £50 a night. I have stayed in Blackpool numerous times with the girls and we have stayed in better party hotels. It was lytham proms and we booked quite a while ago but big mistake. The room was 41 on the third floor, the lift was like something from the 50's old, small n looking dangerous, the stairs not much better! We had a room right next to lift, quite noisy. The rooms where clean but very old, dated furnishing and tired, we could hear everything from next door both ways! View, what view, a wall and a roof full if junk, if we hung out if window could get a glimpse of the sea! Then when the wind picked up we got all the rubbish outside the window banging! Breakfast was regimental, you had to seat at the table number to match your room, and it was waitress service for everything. If you sat at the wrong table they made you move! The hotel boasts it's being refurbished????? Not sure where. Used the gym, very small only one treadmill, and a few weights machines. Would only go back here if the price was halved, felt very ripped off.
Dining area very nice outlook at front great lovely colour scheme in lounge area.
Reception and bedrooom needed more work on them. Nets at window would add to privacy.
The breakfast was good quality served to your table. The waitress at breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
Drab outdated rooms, sheets and blanket with horrible bedspread on small bed. Hairdryer on wall next to door! No plug sockets near the dressing table mirror. Awful bathroom with small sachet of shower gel, expensive hotel for what feels like an old fashioned boarding house. £99 per night is too high for this standard hotel.
It was clean and comfortable, our room was quite dated but the beds were comfortable. our friends were on a lower floor and their room had been refurbished so we assumed they are doing a few rooms at a time. The breakfast was excellent
Stayed for 1 night. Good position opposite the beach, reasonably clean, room decent size and not expensive. Bed was comfortable. Lots of mirrors in room very good. Did have aircon though I didn't need to turn it on. Hot chocolate as well as tea/coffee in room a very welcome touch.
Gosh this place is old fashioned and out dated (even the supposedly refurbished bits). The bed would have benefitted from a nice duvet instead of the sheet and flimsy blanket- even with the extra bit of blanket I found in the wardrobe- I was cold. The noise in the room from an unknown source but sounded maybe like a extractor fan? was so annoying all night, added to the ticking clock- not conducive to a good nights sleep. Bed spread is an old fashioned idea and was very stained! Shower head was very grotty and bathroom in dire need of updating. No view at all from my window. Breakfast included in the reasonable price so can't complain but was only an average breakfast- nothing special and the restaurant feels like stepping back in time- not a good atmosphere or welcoming. Corridors/stairs to rooms are narrow, wobbly and like a maze.... Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Car park small- it was full so I ended up having to park on the street. I didn't use the pool/spa so can't comment on these. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.... I've stayed in lots of other 3 star hotels for a similar price that were much much nicer.
Lovely, comfortable room. Leisure facilites clean and and well cared for. Ample breakfast with a good choice. Attentive and friendly staff
Dinner a little expensive, hover a good selection of bar food available at reasonable prices. The decor in corridors need sprucing up.
Very average hotel for the money
Hotel needs complete new furniture (back in the 70s) and the toilets need to improve on their toilet facilities (toilet paper) ? along with the noise at night from the doors being banged at all hours of the morning.
Very efficient traditional Restaurant service and food was of a high quality. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Nothing to be negative about.
FRIENDLY STAFF.ENJOYED WAITRESS SERVICE
HAVING TO GO HOME!
Would recommend that the bathrooms are upgraded as the room we were in (45), we had difficulty using the shower, water was too hot and the instructions on the side of the bath difficult to follow.
Public areas were nice.
Our room was in need of an upgrade. Net curtains on a wire???
Staff and cleanliness
Although the rooms where a little dated, they where very clean and staff helpful. I left a chain in the room and the hotel called to say it had been handed in by a member of staff. Also facilities where an added bonus!
The option to eat in dining room or bar. Good choice on both menus. Plenty of comfortable seating in communal areas.
Needed some quiet background music in bar and sitting areas. Although some updating has begun at front of house corridors and bedrooms desperatley need refurishing.
