It is a beautiful property which is still undergoing renovation and improvement (public areas unaffected), full of character and wonderful country pine furniture, quirky and comfortable. Our host was absolutely charming and good fun, too. We didn't end up in the"special" room we had booked because apparently Booking.com didn't specify the description of the room at the time of passing the booking to the proprietor, but nevertheless the room we did have was pleasant and comfortable and overlooked a field with 2 horses grazing peacefully. Breakfast was excellent with local preserves and produce.and some very good company around a farmhouse pine table. Well reccommended,

All necessary facilities were available in the room, wi-fi worked well and toiletries were provided. The room was large and a lot more beautiful than I had anticipated. A lot of storage space and furniture (not needed on a one night stay, but good for those staying longer). The bed, duvet and pillows were very comfortable (I appreciated the various kinds of pillows on the bed so I could choose the one that suited me best). Late check in was a big bonus for me as I needed to travel in the evening. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Overall I would recommend should you need to be in the area.

Parking was an issue - the parking facilities are not a car park, more of a lay-by which isn't really large enough for the number of guests they had. As the last to turn up, there was no space for me, so I was parked precariously on the corner of a lane. I wasn't very happy about leaving it there as it would have been easy for other cars to clip my car. I did let them know (through this site) that I was veggie when I booked but there were no veggie options. Not a massive issue, but, some veggie sausages would have been easy to buy and cook up given the period of notice given.

The Chandlery was a delightful bed and breakfast with a comfortable room, excellent breakfast cooked by a friendly and obliging host. A pub and shop only a short walk away.

Very pretty, Worcestershire location, delicious cooked breakfast, John (owner) made us feel very welcome and provided us with everything we needed during our two night stay. Close to good village pub, 'The Crown', where we enjoyed a fabulous meal. Lovely, scenic circular villge walk (6.5 miles) right on the doorstep. Wonderful character property, full of charm.

A lovely house, charming room, and a very welcoming proprietor, who made us feel like visiting friends!

Perfect location for our stay. Fantastic host in John who also cooks a mean full english. Great room, comfortable bed, warm, altogether 4*

Prima B&B-adres "in the middle of nowhere". Prijs voor een family room van 4 is aan de hoge kant. Prima ontbijt en vriendelijke eigenaar. Uitstekend adres wanneer je op doortocht bent; in de directe omgeving is weinig te zien, met uitzondering van Worcester.

Friendly Hospitality.

We were a party of three ladies staying overnight to attend a wedding about 5 miles away. We were in the Elgar suite which included a nice sitting room and our own entrance. The suite consisted of a double bed in one room and twin beds in the other. All beds were comfortable and the rooms were cosy. We liked the large breakfast table that we shared with other residents and the breakfast was very nice. Although we found it a bit difficult to find we would recommend this hotel to friends.

Stayed for 2 nights to go to a family wedding and could not fault the hospitality of John. The breakfast was cooked to order and tasted delicious. The bed was so comfortable. Would definately go back again.

We had a suite of rooms with private living room which was good for a family.

It was a bit chilly and we had awful problems finding it in the dark.

Would have preferred white bedlinen & towels throughout - the bedcoverlet and towels were coloured and somewhat aged in appearance. The room had a slightly musty smell on entering.
