“ Friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel hosts. Hosts provided a carpark for us as there was no street parking available and helped with getting luggage to top floor. Excellent wifi services. Fantastic cooked breakfast.. ”

With impressive views across Weymouth Bay, The Channel Guest House offers free parking and cooked breakfasts. Situated on Weymouth’s Esplanade, the hotel has cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. Set in a Georgian town house, the individual rooms at The Channel each have a private bathroom and an LCD TV. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities and a hairdryer, and some have sea views. Traditional full English breakfasts are served daily in the spacious dining room. Light, continental options are also available, and there is also a cosy guest lounge with leather sofas. The room was beautiful and larger than expected. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The bed was a bit hard and the central heating was on, although didn't expect the good weather which didn't help.

i would recommend this guest house to all my friends, the food was great, and the service was good to. The room we had was perfect. most enjoyable stay. will book again for next year thank you

The Channel Guest House was near to all the shops and bars and far enough away not to be disturbed by late night revellers leaving the clubs and bars. Food was excellent and the rooms was very good and nothing was to much effort for the staff i would highly recommend this establishment. nothing really

Warm welcome, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms We stayed in room 10, the saniflo toilet facility struggled to cope and the sliding toilet door was faulty and didn't give much privacy. This did not however spoil our stay.

warm comfortable room,breakfast good The staff were unfriendly from when we arrived,the water was warm on the friday night, freezing cold on the saturday night when we were getting ready to go out for dinner. Parking was a five minute brisk stroll from the hotel, but it was a wide open space with no security!

Very friendly and made you feel at home. Lovely breakfast - all local produce. Nice room with lovely view. Shower was temperamental and could hear other residents easily through the walls.

Nice room, comfy bed, good bathroom, excellent location right on the seafront, great breakfast, all round nice place. Very slow to get checked in to the room took over 30 mins to do 2 minute job and no parking - be warned all the parking is using a parking permit which the hotel has but there is only 4-6 space outside and they are always full and it is a half mile walk to the the nearest car park!!!!! There is limited parking around the back but always full, so be prepared to walk a long way and leave your car in a vulnerable spot over night!!!!!!

Close to centre Shower cold most of the time ,tea / coffee in rooms poor quality ,having to walk down the hall to the fridge to get milk before you can have a drink,dirty pillow cases

Breakfasts were hearty although restricted in choice and timing. Location good for beach and town centre. Parking is a problem even though a free pass is provided. Bathroom very tired and not clean. Booking in and out were very resrtictive and slow. information from staff almost non-existent. Waste pipes from upstairs bedroom ran through our bedroom with no boxing in or attempt to deaden sound so every flow of water could be heard.

A comfortable and good value for money venue with friendly and helpful owners and staff. The food was of excellent quality. I have no hesitation in recommending the Guest House to others. Nothing
