Rooms could do with a bit of an update
Didn't think room was big enough for the price charged
Staff really friendly and helpful
the food and location
the size of the room very small and payed 10 pound exta for sea view
Everything, hosts, staff, food, room
Staff were very friendly food excellent very welcoming
Friendly staff ,lovely breakfast ,good location
Rooms too small ,toilet room tiny, not for elderly or family's with young children as too many stairs especially if you get a room at the top, problem with hot water in shower nearly got scalded
The hotel was great, Made to feel very welcome by the staff nothing was too much trouble and the food was brilliant.
The owners where very friendly very accomedating would stay again
Room was nice but on the small side and could hear people in other room
The staff were very friendly with a resident band who were very good, all staff joined in the fun making it a great weekend, we will be back again soon
the food and bar was very good
rooms very small
Stayed for 3 days this September. Lovely and friendly,Kim and Mark are excellent hosts, standards were outstanding, the room was done to the highest standard, the steak pie and breakfast were delicious, so was the background music! The location was perfect, I would highly recommend staying here. Mick and Marian
The staff were nice
The room was tiny once we got our luggage in we couldn't move , the bed was cheap rubbish and was noisy , woke up any time myself and my husband moved during the night. There was a layer of dust over everything and the ceiling was awful there was a hole in it and the white panels were stained just looked dirty the room needs a complete make over and should be a small single instead of a tiny double , will not be back !!!!!
The bar was nice, providing cocktails and the hotel was in a good location
The room was really small. I was also charged twice for stay on my credit card, I contacted Kim, who advised this would be sorted and she would refund by cheque. After a week of waiting, I contacted kim who had forgot to send this, I am still waiting on the full refund a month later and have experienced nothing but problems.
Fab decor in bar/ dining area! 60's style! Friendly and welcoming staff couldn't di enough.
Friendly staff. Easy accommodation of my late arrival. Civilised breakfast time and 11am check out time. American diner theme which is really well put together. The steak pie dinner and breakfast were delicious. The music. Sea view from my single room. Cleanliness. A feeling of safety.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in August. Very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great location right on promenade and lovely full English breakfast. Evening entertainment also very good and reasonable prices for drinks. Didn't get the chance to eat dinner there, but food looked tasty.
Our room was a bit on the small side, but we were only staying 2 nights so this was fine, and bigger rooms were available.
The look of morgans bar is what attracted us to book & when booking on booking. Com it showed us a double sea view room we were booking. Breakfast was satisfactory.
Arrived to find we were put in a back room approx 8x12ft ressembing student digs. Old portable big back tv which buzzed loudly when tv was on, which had a free view box on top of the tv held on with a luggage strap, thick in dust. Dust on everything, bathroom circa 70s, shower cubicle mouldy broken tile.My partner asked the owner kim if we could be moved, she said there were no rooms available. He asked about tv buzzing her reply was well there's a brand new bed in there. Curtain track was broken, full of dust, tacky decor & dressing table lamp was thick in dust too. Beware! She said because booking. Com charge them 20% on their rooms, they only give them customers the back rooms, saving front sea view rooms for customers who ring and book. Went on booking.com 10mins after she said they were full only to find 2 double rooms available still !! On leaving kim told us they had ended their contract with booking.com! Well they are still using it ! Don't like being lied to. Also find it strange that the room we were in room 12 ! Is NOT on their website ! I wonder why! For £60.00 a night this was well not worth the money.
