Morgans Charlton Promenade Hotel  

Location, room, food, staff, decor all were very good, would stay again.

The parking was very limited, but other than that all was good.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant and the food was lovely

Just returned from a two night stay at Morgan's. we received a warm friendly welcome from Kim. Who very kindly upgraded us free of charge, have to say I was gobsmacked at the inside interior of the entertainment area, fabulous American diner style, really is superb, great bar and plenty of seating. Sumptuous breakfast served in the morning, waiting staff kind and polite. On the whole had a fab stay and would recommend to anyone. Many thanks to Kim for introducing me and my partner to Tequila Rose wow !!! We shall be back soon xxxx

the owners and staff were amazing they made us feel so welcome they could not do enough for us, we will recomend anyone to go there for a holiday, it is within walking distance of all attractions. The hotel felt very welcoming and was absoluty spotless

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good location for all amenaties.

Room no heating freezing cold. Junior bed the sheet looked like it had been slept in. Holes in the sheets. TV was of poor quality not much signal. Toilet seat was broken. Floor was dirty. General maintance of the room for £75 a nite was terrible. Plus parking 19 rooms but only 6 parking spaces. Food was terrible. We're booked to go back next year but booked a travelodge at least there cleaned and u get ur money's worth.

An excellent hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good value for money. Will be returning to this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. girls couldn't do enough to help. food was delicious, we had our evening meal at the hotel and my steak pie was out of this world. breakfast was fab! Really enjoyed our overnight stay. bed and pillows were very comfy, slept like a log!

Only downside was the hot water was scolding at times. had to really becareful when showering the kids. Shower could do with updating as the shower head was getting grubby and selant starting turning black. however wouldn't put me off staying here again.

the hotel staff were friendly and obliging the food was exceellentand the room was clean and comfortable altogether good value.

The staff were absolutely lovely & very helpful. Perfect location. Fantastic decor and theme. Live entertainment :)

The only negative thing about our stay was 1 of the beds was very uncomfortable. It was a sofa bed and me & my mum had to take it in turns to lay on it as it was so uncomfortable.

Bedroom too small

On arrival the proprietor Kim welcomed us straight away .Only booked 4 days prior to staying there was 4 adults in our group could only get a double room and a twin room Kim was able to give us two double rooms. Everybody was very friendly the hotel deccor was fantastic a lot of hard work has gone into it. Breakfast was lovely you could eat as much as you wanted. Family friendly ,good entertainment all round had a great time.You need to stay here to appreciate all the hard work all the staff put in. Thank You for a lovely break.

Unfortunatley this Hotel does not have a lift for the disabled.

The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The food was lovely and the entertainment was great. It was a lovely little set up in the bar/restaurant.

Our room was very small and a bit shabby but maybe other rooms are nicer. We did book late.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms excellent value for money.

I enjoyed the warm welcome and the effiencey of the staff they couldn't do enough for us.And the children were well cared for.

No family rooms with a sea view.

Just back from morgans chalton hotel for september weekend 2012 with the family, had fantastic time. kim the owner was brilliant very helpfull in everyway and made us all feel very welcome, as were all the staff couldnt do enough for you, great atmospher, rooms were basic size with your own shower and toilet and were spotless, the home made food was fantastic, we ate there everynite, will definetly be going back to the morgans chalton.

Could have done with two toilets in bar area as when bar is busy at night everyone is waiting on same toilet. That was the only downside of agreat weekend.

Not for the disabled no lift too many steps,only once saw the owners it seems the staff run the hotel only one toilet in main entertaintment room was not given room shown when I visited the hotel the room I got was smaller arrived on the friday wanted to leave on the saturday and would have done so if I had not paid in full up front.breakfast usual fair but no choice on eggs its scrambled or none.not enough tea/coffee in room 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets per day can buy tea/coffee downstairs at £1.50 per cup at the bar.toilet too small just about got bum cheeks between walls no im not that big shower very good noise level is what you would expect until midnight then all quiet usual door slams for a while shouting ect.wont be staying again becouse no lift I am disabled and toilet too small.

It was a friendly hotel it was lovely and quiet in a lovely quiet spot it had parking which was great would I stay there again most definately

We had a lovely seafront room as requested. The room was very clean & would stay there again. Staff very helpful. Breakfast seemed a little disorganised but nothing major.

Shower wasn't the best & water was temperamental.

there was no toilet paper in rooms the breakfast wud av been nice but most things were cold bedrooms need gud like of paint and updating
