The Three Queens Hotel is set in Burton-upon-Trent, an area best known for its brewing industrial heritage. Within the 16th century walls of the hotel is a bar, a restaurant and a 24-hour reception.

This charming B&B is located in the beautiful countryside village of Congerstone. A former working farm, parts of the property date back to the 13th century.

In the center of Burton upon Trent, in the heart of the Midlands, this hotel and restaurant is a historic Grade II heritage-listed building, dressed in Arthurian décor.
Score from 82 reviews Good
very friendly courteous staff.
The room was not very clean. The carpet was stained and had not been hovered. The room smelt a little musty. The door had not been locked. The food in the restaurant was awful. I was served my meal after 5 mins so it had obviously been pre cooked, it looked it as well!
Parking the car close to the room, & being away from the bar.
really the whole experience
the bed was very hard and the pillows harder
we were there for a funeral the location was perfect
The bed was very soft and the duvet barely covered the top.
It was so quiet despite being only a few minutes drive from the M1. Liked parking right outside our room door!
Nothing not to like the place.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Quick and efficient with paperwork, compared to other hotels we stayed in. And the fact you get £5 off on your next stay. An incentive to book again with the company and to recommend to friend and family. We liked the fact you can park straight outside your room.
The mattress had seen better days and was not that comfortable and was noisy when just rolling over
The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was served promptly and was good value but if anything was overly generous. I felt stuffed when I finished and didn't require a pudding...or breakfast! (I was brought up not to leave food, but on this occasion I could have done so and felt more comfortable).
Very poor lock on door as only night latch and evidence on all doors of tampering. Really need serious lock upgrade as all rooms outside motel style. Watch room given as some have high steps to so bad if slightly disabled or worse. Had difficulty charging phone as lead outlet at bottom of plug and all sockets to close to work surface. Had to use extension lead l fortunately had.
Parking close to room. Bed. Price of meals and quality of food.
Great value, facilities perfectly acceptable if a little dated. Friendly staff. Good meals.
The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable.the toilet in the room is a saniflo and was hard to flush and the wifi wasn't available during stay.
bed needs new matress shower old and needs cleaning
Lack of wifi
Warm rooms. Cleaned daily. Great food
One small niggle, the English breakfast, I noticed that if you ordered 2 childrens breakfasts it was a penny cheaper than the adult breakfast but you would get more. why?
The room was very comfortable, especially the bed! Very helpful staff even when the bar/restaurant was packed and people waiting, still made sure I wasn't stood waiting at the small reception area.
Unless you fancy sitting side saddle, the toilet being right up against the wall in room no1 isn't ideal! I opted for continental breakfast and was disappointed. Despite the 'range of breads and pastries' available according to the menu, a croissant or a sponge cake, crumpets along with a sliced loaf for toast isn't exactly a big range, and I thought quite expensive for what was on offer.(there were cereals, fruit salad and yogurt if you wanted them)
I've stayed here before and the rooms are excellent, nice and quiet, clean, warm and well managed facilities and great range of well priced food in the Charnwood Arms.
Nothing all good
no problems lovely staff
Chalet quiet and cosy soap dispensers not easy to use overall good
The size of the room was amazing and I would consider this place again
Strange High pitch ringing noise in room ,from time to time. Breakfast looked like it was thrown together, could got better from the snack van on the ind Estate. Cleanliness of cup and other utensils was poor.
Staff were very friendly , location Good just of the M1
Not able to conect to wi/Fi throughout building. noise from motorway.
Comfort and cleanliness of room.
It would be better to have wifi password given to you on checking in
the overall experience was marred by the cleanliness of the room and bedding. Although it looked clean, the bedding was not fresh.
Felt the rooms could do with a highbacked comfortable chair to relax in after having travelled a long way but that is me being very picky and it certainly wouldn't stop me visiting again.
Location, value, friendliness. The restaurant staff were the best we have come accross for ages and were very busy. Everyone of them worked brilliantly obviously being under a very good manager. Best Fayre & Square we have ever visited.
Duvet not very thick so was cold
Creaky floor boards
We were in the exec double (10) which is ideal for families with young children as they could be in a separate room. Very good amount of space.
No soap in the bathroom dispenser TV was a bit small Pillows hard Radiator not adjustable
Liked the fact it was a motel It was quiet at night Good location, easy to find, Hospitable staff.
