Friendly staff, comfy bed and a great breakfast
No phone signal! Not their fault!!
A lovely feel to both village & hitel
Helpful staff, comfortable bed, great bath and super breakfast.
Yes the breakfast was freshly and beautifully cooked and piping hot. Sevice was friendly and flexible and all our requests were met with charm and prompt attention. It was a lovely spacious room and arriving on a chilly day met us with delicious warmth.
Lovely and quiet. Good beer and friendly staff.
Boss lady was in the bar laughing and joking quite loudly till 2am which was directly below my room.
Bedroom well presented
WiFi is terrible. The bedroom was difficult to keep warm and there was damp in the bathroom with the shower curtain filthy from spores. No plug near to kettle - had to boil water on the floor of bedroom near available plug. Breakfast was poor - no beans one day and it took 35 minutes to cook, second day OK but came out wrong! Needs a good manager
Lovely place to stay.
Very poor phone reception which did seem unusual.
Delicious dinner and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff
Very very friendly and co operative staff. Good Restaurant with delicious Breakfast Good country side view.
Far away from the city No public transport facility Locks of Doors and Windows needs to be repaired
Such a lovey place, very friendly staff and beautiful food.
Beautiful peaceful location, lovely interior
Bed was a little uncomfortable,
Having to ask for - toilet roll, shower gel, coffee, shampoo in our room. Sugar and plate for our toast at breakfast. Wifi not working
Staff, Breakfast and facilities were very nice. Did not have great time as arrived late and left early.
Only niggle I had was that my room must have been over the refrigeration system which turned on and off every few minutes. Some however may not have noticed this but I am a light sleeper.
We loved the decor of our room (the red one) and the bathroom. The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly. The food was excellent both dinner and breakfast and the conservatory area was a lovely environment to eat in
If I had one criticism it would be that the pub toilets could do with a redecoration to match the standard of the rest of the place
Good standard of hospitality. Excellent breakfast. The location is attractive rural setting.
A little difficult to find but worth the effort.
Lovely location and friendly staff. Comfy bed.
Litter bag left in middle of bathroom on arrival; bathroom decoration a little tired; shower didn't appear to work or lacked clear instructions
Staff were friendly & welcoming. Room was spacious & quirky- layout needs more thought. Good pub meal in evening. Good veggie breakfast.
Room was cold. Shower curtain covered in mould. Furniture blocked plugs had to boil kettle on floor! Burgler alarm at 5.30am & no staff on hand to tell us what was going on! (But we had an apology at breakfast)
Staff very welcoming and most helpful Wonderful fire in bar to relax on a sofa with a glass of wine Good food Recommend highly
location, nice village
room was dated, needed a bit of TLC
Great food had dinner as well as breakfast
Shower set off the fire alarm
We enjoyed the location and the piece and quiet of the pub. Definatly will stay again.
Isolated setting, rural views. Breakfast / meals very good quality and quantity. Ambience of hotel and village. Manager extremely helpful and friendly, especially when we arrived later than expected at night.
Setting & location
Noise, compressor ran all night. Leaking roof. Faulty lock on bedroom door.
