Staff very welcoming. Lovely roaring fire, really cosy and relaxing. Food gorgeous. Went walking over our 3 night stay beautiful views and walks. Our room was a very good size, well decorated . great view from our bedroom.
Friendly staff without being in your face. Great homely atmosphere with all that you need for an overnight stay. Very good bathroom facilities with shelves and fantastic water pressure. Great food!!
Nothing I didn't like, only struggled with inconsistent internet connection.
Staff very friendly. Restaurant excellent.nice location
Shower had to be on full to get hot but having on full soaked the floor.
Food excellent.hospitality good.rooms clean and beds comfortable .breakfast super.
We wanted to do some walking so the location was perfect with stunning walks right from the pub door. The room was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, and the pub itself very characterful with good food, wine and local beers. The provision of local walk maps in our room was really appreciated.
The pub was really warm and welcoming when we arrived but the heating seemed to go off around 9 pm which made the room a bit chilly, and the burner went out in the bar/restaurant area on our second night so we didn't linger over our last meal.
No wifi signal in the room and very poor in the restaurant.
Spacious room, lovely food and good drinks. Very polite and helpful staff.
Lovely location, friendly staff, nice food, would stay again. We chose it for its "oldie world charm" and it lived up to our expectation

Gorgeous location. Great breakfast. Cosy place. Very good value.
The food didn't live up to the hype unfortunately.
Quality food, real ale and nice atmosphere
Decor is a little dated in places but adds to the atmosphere of the place. It's not cheap but we understand there are additional costs involved in running a business in such a remote location
There was nothing about the hotel to dislike, top of the like list was undoubtedly the welcome and friendliness of the staff, particularly the Manager. Food was very good and the breakfast was simply wonderful. Already planning our next visit!
The whole stay was great.
